The storage card will be formatted by the device (camera, etc.); or you can re-format the card on your PC - or use it as is.

Mine is 64 and it worked great. I don't think you would have a problem with it.

I am not sure, but it probably is. We use it to copy a file from a MacBook and then insert it in a PC to copy and/or upload to an Internet server with no problem.
