You just need to measure the holes on the back of your tv and compare them to the measurements on the mount. If you mean make the tv turn vertical instead of horizontal yes it would still work. It can be tightened as tight as you want it to be. You cannot turn it looking down because it only tilts down abut 2" but you could adapt it to look down if that is what you mean.
