will this work on xbox one null

I only know it will because my son was going to use this 2TB hard drive for our Xbox One. Instead, he opted to upgrade the hard drive in the PS4. He took the original PS4 1TB hard drive out, put it in the Seagate shell case and connected that to the Xbox One. Not the exact same hard drive, but it would've worked just the same.
