Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this is not an ssd. I currently have a mix of both ssd and HDD. I now use SSD for operating systems and HDD for their SIZE and and reliability for storing vast amounts of data. I do have my operating system still located on my HDD that came with my matching and it is a 2tb hdd. My ssd (m.2 key m 256gb) drive has crashed a couple of time due to the proximity of the video board. The video board manufacturer released updates to the board allowing it to be as efficient with 1/2 the power and heat. I still rely on HDD though. I have 3 Seagate SSD 2tb drives and 3 external usb 3.0 SLIM 2 tb drives.(3 different colors of course). The drives allow for redundancy internally and externally. at a very low cost compared to and ssd at 2tb (2tb SSD would cost upward of $1200 vs HDD 2tb internal $80-90 dollars and the same for an external. Cant go wrong for now with HDD . I like the 2TB size since it stores a ton of data.
