Does it get local CH ??? null

It gets the exact channels that your cable box has that you are "slinging" from - understand you need some type of service for this to work eg Dish, Direct, Cable, etc

Any channels that your television is capable of receiving the Sling Box will receive. I hope this helps.

The Slingbox basically mirrors your cable box. If your cable box receives local channels then the Slingbox will transmit them as well.
