“I've been using Denon and Audyssey since 2010. Audyssey has set the crossovers to 250 while the info I had for these Sonance said 40 hz. i am running audyssey with the speakers outside of the ceiling. any ideas? other speakers reading ok.”

If you have a subwoofer there's no need to send such low frequencies to these speakers. Typically you don't want to go any lower than 80hz on a non-subwoofer speaker especially when you have a sub in the mix. Let the sub to what it's designed to do.
