QuestionCan you charge and record at the same time?

- Answer This will function while plugged into the wall, however IT WILL NOT CHARGE while in use. Once you stop recording it will then charge. If you use an apple USB/socket adapter to plug it to the wall it will not record while charging. Stupid camera.

QuestionAny problems with the battery heating up the camera?I only used the camera for a few minutes and the camera felt very warm against my hand where the battery is. I am wondering if others have experienced this and if the camera gets hotter the longer it is on. Is this something I should be concerned about?

- Answer I used this camera all day, all week at Disney World with extra batteries and memory cards. I recorded for about 45 -60 minutes at a time and never experienced a problem.

- Answer Not tried it for that but I believe it would. We bought it for a cruise to Alaska and the zoom is amazing for such a small device. I am very satisfied. The videos are great and I was surprised at the photos and how good they turn out. This is a perfect package product, the best of both.

- Answer The maximum continuous recordable time of a movie is about 13 hours. When an AVCHD movie file exceeds 2 GB, the next movie file is created automatically. When an MP4 movie file exceeds 4 GB, the next movie file is created automatically.

- Answer Yes. You must have the battery in the camera, and the battery does not charge when the camera is on while connected to a wall outlet, but it will work off a 110V wall outlet.
