- Answer most likely yes, due to the limited stock world wide, this is the only way for sony to distribute accurately to each retail, each retail is given a certain amount of credit for stock, once each retailer hits their limit. they will evaluate stock and distribute in a wave. if there are any left over due to cancellations or miscount, they may have a tentative order up for a few of them or give them to charity/auctions
