No it won't. I just put in Disney's "John Carter on Mars" 3D Blu Ray DVD and it said it was NOT a 3D DVD player and would NOT play the DVD. The regular Blu Ray copy looks beautiful, however. I have the UBP-X700 (no M)

Yes but not many newer TV’s will support 3D. I upgraded everything to 4K and found out my large collection of 3D DVDs can only be viewed on my older 2016 TV and not the new 2022 I just purchased.
