Not really - there are ways to get it done, but the DRM might not let it connect. You would need something that honors DRM as an HDMI capture device - and at 4k to boot to get the best value out of it. If you are just looking for a device to watch physical movies on your laptop, there are plenty of great USB based drives that you could utilize and some software like VLC player which can be downloaded for free. Just make sure to get a drive and videos from your "region". You only get so many changes before you get region locked.
