BT headphones would sometimes create issues with Bluetooth pairing AND need to be plugged in to charge. RCA specifically advertises hard-hearing features, but I mention them for user-friendly charging and (no) configuration: just plug base into 3.5mm port. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-whrf400-rf-wireless-headphones-black/6267219.p?skuId=6267219
