“older model had the issue of the headset powering down while on bluetooth if there is no music going thru and trying to use the noise cancellation. I used a cut off headset jack as a bypass to resolve this. did Sony correct this issue with this model?”

• They didn't on the headset I purchased a few weeks ago. I don't know the mfg date.

• Nope. Just got off the phone with sony support and you must have music going thru these to activate the noise canceling feature. Kinda sux if you, like I just want some peace and quiet on an airplane.
