Alerting when someone is in your room is only one of the features. It's main feature is a story mode where the user can take part. It will take you into a story about finding a villain but it will ask for your help to swing him through something, to punch, kick, hide, and so forth, to accomplish the mission. It will also ask questions about you such as, your favorite color your favorite hobby etc. the more you talk with it the more it learns you and can respond sarcastically to your commands.

Through a smart phone app your child can select many things to do with Spidey. There is a lot of content that can engage your child's imagination in Spider-Man adventures and just in "normal" conversation with Spidey.
