Q: QuestionCan I connect my old VCR to this tv to play VHS tapes? If so, will the images be grainy or out-of-sync? Would I get a better result from the 49" 1080p model? Or are they about the same in this regard?
Asked by ModernJ.
- A:Answer Absolutely! This TCL Roku TV has various inputs that can be used to connect external devices, such as a VCR. The image of the VCR movies may not be perfectly clear as it is scaling to a different resolution. There are settings that can adjust picture size to help better suit your personal preference. Additionally, there should not be any sort of sync trouble in this setup. For other content, such as streaming or external devices, a 4K TV would provide up-scaling and a generally more clear picture quality. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
