“I recently bought a 55” toshiba firetv. I have directtv. Everytime i thrn my tv off. I have to use the firetv remote to scroll down to hdmi (the input where my directtv is) to be able to view tv. Any way around this?”

• Got to settings on the home screen. Display & Sound: select Power On, select Last Input. Found this by accident by the way, hope it helps.

• U need to put the tv in basic settings. I thought it was broken myself till I switch from fire tv to basic setting
