A:AnswerHi Wolverine
The Fire TV works in Canada. Just remember Alexa is “built in” and you need no other device than the remote control that comes with your TV. Make sure you download the skills you want to use to the TV as well. It does not wake up without you click the mic key on your remote control.
It is only available in English and yes sometimes it might misunderstand you (happens to me all the time)
Look for the definitive list of the top built-in Alexa commandsnin the Alexa webpage. You need subscriptions for the channels through your satellite/TV provider or Amazon Prime (not all will be fully accessible), you may need to pay for some other channels as well.
A:AnswerThis unit does not have a VGA port, but we welcome you to check for adapters or other models that might fit your needs better. Viri E. Toshiba Support
A:AnswerThe rep at Best Buy told my husband and I that this TV would work with Amazon Echo. This article says you can give voice commands to your Echo Dot: https://www.the-ambient.com/features/toshiba-amazon-fire-tv-716
A:AnswerI have a Sony. It works well. But, you shoul pick the one that sounds best to you and does not block the remote sensor that is to the far right of the screen.
A:AnswerThe tv boots to the Amazon Fire TV interface. You can then select a different output and use your comcast remote. Using it with the TV is limited to off/on or selecting the output. Thats it.
