A calibration is performed after the TV has been running for 100 hours. It does not involve set up, programming, and connecting sources. It takes about 90 minutes and involves running a program on their laptop and light sensors to determine the best color quality for your TV and the room you have it in. Every calibration is different. It is the best thing you can do to your television, it improves picture quality and reduces power consumption to help your TV last longer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The difference is whether you are adding the calibration to be done with a setup and mounting (add-on) or simply having geeksquad come out to the the calibration by itself ($249). The add on is when they are already scheduled to do some type of work with your tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If I'm correct I think they are exactly the same. The price difference depends on the size of the tv and the bundled package you get.
