That would be in line with my experience. The device is useful and works well. All my issues came with Verizon and their "automated" activation. If you altready have an account with Verizon they use that to activate the pack - - but it assigned my primary cell phone number to the pack!!! It took multiple calls and on line attempts to ultimately get a new number assigned to the pack and my old number back. If possible go for direct personal help to activate.
