“I am able to pair my Tivo remote with my TV so I can use it to cut the tv on and off and adjust the volume. Will the Tivo remove automatically adjust the volume on the Sound Bar, or do I have to re-pair it with the sound bar?”

Your Tivo remote with control the volume as long as you connect the soundbar to your TV's HDMI ARC input. It should also work with the fiber optic connection. Use HDMI ARC for the best quality connection and sound.
