“What is the quality of this sound bar without using the subwoofer. I want one that can be used both ways. My tv speakers aren’t loud enough. It’s for a small room and I don’t want music or sound effects blaring everytime I watch something.”

The sound bar will work well without the subwoofer in use. The subwoofer is designed to add more bass and rumble for ambiance and immersion while enjoying what you are watching or while playing a video game and listening to music.
