• That is going to depend on the app. Some apps allow this feature to be activated in settings and others do not.

• Casting comes from the app, not the TV. So in the app, you just need to touch the ChromeCast symbol, touch whatever you named your TV, and then it will start on the TV screen.

• You have to be sure that the tablet is connected to the TV first, then you can set it to cast. Once connected once to cast, I have not had to change it back even if I take the tablet out of the house. It reconnects upon entering the room so that you can cast automatically from Netflix, etc.

• It's a chromecast built into the TV, not much more, not much less. It will switch the input to the built in chromecast if you start streaming something, but it seems like any time it has been sitting idle for a while you have to hit the button to make it stream again.
