  • QuestionDOES THIS SOUNDBAR HAVE HDMI AND IF SO DOES IT SUPPORT HDCP 2.2?

    • Answer I have tried to research this too and as far as I can find Vizio has not listed this info in the specifications. Seems odd because this is something anyone with 4k might want to know. I did read in a forum that people who have purchased this model said it is hdmi 1.4... so it appears it does not support HDCP 2.2. Those who were dealing with it said you need to hook your devices to the tv then the tv to the sound bar and you would be able to watch HDCP2.2 movies ok.

  • QuestionI only get background sound and music through the satellite speakers. I don't get voices/speech through these speakers, only through the sound bar. Why is this and how do I fix It?

    • Answer When audio is mixed for a broadcast they send specific audio through each speaker. The front speakers are designed to give you audio that is coming out of the front TV. The rear speakers, or 'channels' are used to send audio that is happening off screen. Typically you'll get action sounds, music, or ambient noise like rain from your rear speakers. But because of the way audio is mixed, the front speakers are intended to play voices, the rear speakers are for ambient sounds.

    • Answer You can use the remote or you can use the smart cast app. With the remote you choose menu Then use the up down arrows to find Sure Balance then watch the lights on the sound bar and use the up/down till you reach the desired balance.
