• Char - The cordless handsets of the CS5129-26 has no flashing light for new message indicator. Instead, it will display "New Message" when there is at least one new message recorded on the built in answering machine. Only the telephone base has a flashing light (Play button) that indicates a new message recorded. Thank you, -VTech Support
