The 2Tb and under works with the PS5, I have this SSD drive in 2Tb form installed in my PS5 and it works flawlessly. Avoid installing drives bigger than 2Tb because the PS5 controller has trouble controlling larger drives, this is a known issue well documented on the PS forums.

They should all work with the PS5, I would recommend getting one with a heatsink.

Yes that’s what I bought it for. Just make sure to buy a cheap (under $10) heatsink off Amazon if you’re buying the model without a heatsink.

Yes BUT you would need to get an after market heat sink for it or you are better off buying the one that already comes with the WD heat sink SKU: 6512130
