A:Answer The Whirlpool bases are supposed to fit with the Whirlpool washers. But then tell me why when the Best Buy service guy came to install our pedestal, he showed me that there will be a screw missing under the bottom of it because the hole at the bottom of the washer does not align properly where the screw needs to go. So we will always have a missing screw, and the washer does not sit squarely on top of the pedestal. Our service guy told us he would contact Best Buy and get us a credit for keeping the pedestal/washer the way it is. But we have never received any credit for it as of yet. So will this pedestal fit your new Whirlpool washer? I don't know. It depends if the holes on the bottom of your washer were drilled in the proper places. Ours apparently were not. Good luck!
