Check your owners manual or call the customer service number in your manual or stop in at your nearest Best Buy Store and ask one of their Representatives.

I'm pretty sure you need filter number 3, not number 1. But, they will likely have a replacement for your filter at Best Buy as well. The filters pop out so easily on the Whirlpool refrigerators. If you aren't sure just pop yours out and take to Best Buy to match it up.
