We purchased this for my daughter because she uses the same product in school and we need to be proficient in talk to text by September. This is a great product, enough speed and memory. Easy to use. Comes with case and stylus. Eatontown NJ store has a dedicated Chromebook representative which I think is a great idea for us Apple parents, LOL

My son needed a new laptop to do his school work because of the Covid -19 and school being closed. Major inconvenience and hassle but thankfully we found this for a reasonable price and it has worked beautifully for him! Thanks Best Buy!

My son has an acer chromebook, and he really likes it for its speed. I got one and it's true. the chromebook does not carry the heavy baggage of windows, so it can get by with a slower processor. This, of course, means a longer battery life. My wife grabbed the machine and won't let me near it. It's her baby, and she loves it.

The computer is easy to use, simple, and strict forward. When does, it feels just like a tablet, but doesn't have the hangups of a standard tablet when it comes to functionality on websites that aren't properly made for mobile devices. It handles my workload with ease and the long battery life is a lifesaver.

I will say that I always had an inaccurate perception of Chromebooks. I always perceived them as junk, but I will tell you this product has changed my mind. I love the touchscreen and it is super fast. I only need it for web surfing and it serves that purpose well. Definitely worth the money! Nice carrying case too.

First off, let me say that this Chromebook is great for what it is! For people that are unfamiliar with the term Chromebook, even though this looks like a laptop PC, it is not. Visually it is very similar but with some different button functions along the top of the keyboard. The touchpad is also not a typical laptop touchpad, as this offers no left and right click options like a mouse, because it is not supposed to be a mouse, it offers very accurate cursor features with tapping for selection/activation. The awesome thing is that the screen is a touch screen with built in Wacom Tablet functionality that includes a drawing/selection pen. One can easily use a finger or the included pen for additional selection options over the touchpad. Wacom drawing/editing tablets are usually very expensive, so to have this included in this device is a huge bonus. Wacom devices are typically used by professional photo editors and digital artists, because of the accuracy and different levels of pressure sensitivities creating realistic designs. Adobe Photoshop or Autodesk Sketchbook are great software options to take advantage of the Wacom features. As I mentioned earlier this is not a PC, it is more like a giant Android smart phone with additional features. It actually runs on the Android OS. So no PC or Mac software will work on this device but there are plenty of great Android software options out there for your needs, including Office, Outlook, Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, Hulu etc. .. one can simply search the app store for tons of options based on keywords, or actual software titles. I would also like to emphasize how well the battery is on this. With one full charge I was able to use this for a week straight before having to charge it again. I left it on all week, with moderate use. about an hour or two a day, me searching the web, and my kids drawing on the screen. The best thing is that this never heated up like a typical laptop would, even after a couple of hours of use, the unit remained room temperature. There are so many great features to this Chromebook, so I will try to summarize a few that I thought were best: - Wacom Touchscreen features - The screen folds back all the way, which when it does activates the automatic screen rotation. Great for drawing, or angling the screen for watching movies. - When the screen is folded back the keyboard turns off, as not to accidentally cause unwanted inputs while just using the touch screen - works great for games, business use, or casual internet browsing - webcam/camera - can be charged by the included charging cable or any other USB type-C connector - Fast at start up, and use - I experienced no lag or freeze ups in anything I have been doing. - Easy set up - It syncs up great with previous gmail/google accounts. I entered my gmail Id and password at start up, and all my chrome bookmarks, passwords and preferences were right there. - I also love the size of this device it is small enough to carry around with you, but big enough to still enjoy all the features - lightweight , yet sturdy and thick enough to hold - A soft lightly padded case is also included for travel At this point I can't really think of any cons, as I have just been happy with it's performance so far.

I like that I can check my email, Facebook, and all of the other websites that I use daily. I can have several pages open at the same time without lag. I like that it is small enough that I can take it to bed to watch movies. Even with the apps I want on it, it hasn't run out of memory.

Owning several personal computers throughout my life. While most of them have been desktops, I had a wonderful Acer laptop that got me through high school and most of college. I decided it was time to add the versatility of a laptop back into my life. Awesome powerful fast machine easy to carry around

I purchased this a few months back from Best Buy as a display model at a generously discounted price. I have wanted to try a Chromebook for quite a while now, and figured I couldn't go wrong spending under $200. I have been pleasantly surprised with my experience. This little machine runs well, does everything I need it to do (email, web surf, watching videos, Netflix, etc.). Acer is making some great devices now, and this Chromebook is no exception. I love how the Chromebook OS powers up so quickly (unlike the dreaded powering up cycle on Windows computers), and I also appreciate that there are regular security and OS updates that take place behind the scenes as you are using the machine. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone who is looking for a simple computing machine without all the added and often-times unused bells and whistles of Windows or Mac devices! As a side note, I have been so pleased with my Chromebook, that my fiance and I just purchased another one for her.

The Acer Spin is a great tool. Plenty of storage space. Automatic backups of projects. Touch screen that can be utilized with the included stylus. Ability to work with or without keyboard by folding all the way around. Light and sleek, even comes with it's own padded carry case.

I purchased this for my 6th grade son for online schooling and it’s so easy for him to navigate and do everything he needs it to do. The touch screen is so helpful and it’s nice that the screen flips. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it.

Love my new chromebook.. I thought I would be using the pen feature more but so far seems like it doesn't do all that much, but I'm very happy with the flip feature and touch screen. I am impressed how much is packed into this inexpensive laptop.

Bought this for my daughter. She loves how fast it boots, runs, and charges. Just the right sized screen for traveling. She packed it on our recent 2- week Maui vacation.... used it every day. She'll have this one for a while. Price was good too.

the acer chromebook is the best of a laptop and a tablet in one device. I like to use a keyboard instead of a touch screen, but I can use both with the acer chrombook. Don't have to worry about viruses. It runs fast and can share documents with others.

This little device was great for daily simple needs. I can see why it is popular with students. I brought back because I do occasionally do some photo editing and video editing and for that it just could perform. Not that it should. The display is on the dim side and the Cileron processor just can not multitask much. Better than other devices at this price point. The included pen/stylus is awesome and the included sleeve is nice. Great little package for the price. I do recommend this CB unless you can step up to $400+ price point. I would suggest at the time of the review to look up Dell Inspiron and HP. They go on sale for $450 often.
