I bought this router to replace an old westell g modem that had been provided by verizon ages ago. the westell had become an evil thing which wouldn't connect to the dsl. So after a great deal of research I decided on a different router but when I got to my local store it was out of stock. I found this model and it works wonderfully. Setup took far less then 15 minutes and was accomplished with a chromebook instead of having to drag my windows monstrosity to it. All had been good. The only thing that happens is occasionally if the electricity flashes you have to manually reset the unit which isn't uncommon with any modem.

I bought it on sale. It only took about 25-30 minutes to set up. I use it with my work computer and with my personal laptop. It's been working just fine for over a month now.

Worked great for a few weeks then suddenly lost its settings.

Great router for Windstream internet. Your employees were knowledgable & helped me select the correct router.

In my ignorance i trusted the word of the gentleman helping me. He looked at the list I had and said this was the only thing close but it would work. obviously he was wrong and I spent the time of an additional trip to the Clackamas store to get the correct item.

Qwest started using these dsl modems when they first installed DSL at all of our company's locations. As a field service technician, we use these as a direct replacement and they are easy to program.

Works actually better than expected, assists the connection speed for a DSL connection on an old XP system.

It is so great not having a separate modem and router. I have AT&T DSL and 8 connected devices and this Actiontec can handle WiFi for all of them - even when streaming movies - no signal strength loss.

Modem works very well. Easy to set up. You need to setup a secure admin password. The modem has had to be reset a couple of times but nothing like the ATT modem I had. Overall a really good modem.

Simple install, wireless works quite well and no problems. It is much better than the"rebuilt" piece of junk that Century Link tried to sell me.

When it was time to replace our old speedstream, I couldn't believe the difference it made. Faster and staying connected even with 3 computers on at the same time. Hookup was a snap too!

I use this with my Verizon High Speed DSL, non Fios. Easily connected, but you have to read the quick-start manual to get an idea of the navigation of the software. I needed to connect and program from my laptop, but it took me about 15 minutes. Has worked great for approx two months now.

the modem is a good product. we bought for my mother to use and she has AT&T. when we called AT& T they wanted to charge us for phone help to set up, but we called the product support hotline and they walked us through it for free. good service.

I bought this for an EarthLink customer and it works just as it should. No problems with it! I also like how easy the interface is to use.

Recently switched internet providers and as such, needed a new modem/router. The Actiontec we selected works great, was easy to set up and provides us a much faster internet speed. The product was purchased to meet our current needs and has the necessary options included to allow us to grow as faster speeds are made available in our area.
