With this unit I am now able to access higher DSL speeds than I could with my older unit.

Used this to replace my Centurylink Issued router, and this was a vast improvement. Better connection speed, less lag to my wireless units, and much cheaper to own than to rent from Centurylink!

Would not recommend for business accounts or any accounts with PPPoE static IP addresses that are not dynamically assigned by your ISP. Was a pain to setup. Also hijacks the network's dns suffix, which I think is absurd. Definately not the device for business connections. Would work fine for a home user with dynamic IP address.

Purchased this modem to replace the modem centurylink was renting to me. This modem says compatible with adsl+2, but it would not connect to the CenturyLink dsl signal in the phone line. If you need a CenturyLink modem purchase netgear.

The router was simple to set up. There were no problems with the hardware

I purchased this to replace an older modem. I have CenturyLink and it worked great. Had to call to get network IP settings but tech support was great.

The modem/router package is very appealing, but if you are not computer savvy the instructions could be a little tough.

This is a good basic modem if you are going to use it with a LAN cable. I had problems with the Wi-Fi, it keeps losing connectivity in the WI-FI requiring the modem to be reset, and this does not affect the computer that is connected with the LAN cable. I was able to get the WI-FI to work a little better by doing a factory reset on the modem, but time will tell.

My son was in town who designs computer chips and helped us purchase a new router for our computer system at home. We were back up and running within an hour of purchase. We were limited as we using a DSL system in our home.

No problems so far. Set-up was easy. I've used the modem for 3 months.

While I had no real issue with the product, it did not work with the system it was purchased for.

Replacement for a much older unit (so we also got more functionality). Setup was no problem. So far, so good.

I tried this as a replacement for a GT724W, but the performance was no better. The router memory would max out and need to be rebooted roughly once a day. This may be an ISP problem, but the tech support from Actiontec was not helpful. Basic scripted response, need to reboot, you must have a virus, etc. BestBuy did take the return with a smile, though.

I find this as the best unit around to carry as a spare in my truck. I can be configured to match every DSL circuit I've encountered - - Public, Residential, or Commercial.

First time set up did not complete. Directions seem to be inaccurate for a wireless modem.

Changed internet provider and went to one that did not supply the modem. This wireless router / modem combination unit is exactly what is needed. Runs great with good reception throughout the house.

I have a large home and this worked to provide coverage all over without any cold spots.

Works as intended. Not super fast but my ISP is not that fast. Does what I bought it to do.

I liked the software but it would not load on my computer it was taking forever to install.

its a router, it does one thing! Seems to work just fine.
