I love the price, I got a modem/router combo for less than the price for one of either. I surf the net easily from my laptop and it is very easy for my family to get on when they visit, with just a touch of a button they can log on to my wireless network. I am very impressed with how great this product performs with my att&t dsl service. It would be excellent except for the trouble I had installing, However, Im not sure if it was on the part of the modem or my service provider. I have not had a problem with connection since installing I have had this product for almost three months.

It had no signal strength. I called tech support and the guy was rude. He said I don't know what to tell you just take it back. So I did. Do not waste your time with this.

Bought upon advice from new internet provider. Set it up and found I must have purchased a lemon, returned it and wound up renting a modem from my ISP.

When my modem died I started researching what was out there that would work for hard wire and wireless. I found this product and know that Actiontec is a good product since that is what my company i work for uses mostly. WOW so easy to set up and way cheaper than what my internet provided wanted. Heads up though as the sales people at best buy will tell you that this product will not work with Century Link(even though right on the outside of the box it says it will) and that you have to only use Century Link products. I had no issues connecting. It was fast and easy to setup and was done in about 15 minutes and this product walks you through how to set up the security too so that you have a secure connections. Highly recommend and YES it DOES work with Century Link

What a deal! Strong signal output. Reaches over 300 feet through walls of poured concrete. I've used it for 9 months. It's been through power outages and never had to be re-booted. It's the finest DSL modem ever crafted by the hand of man. The finest modem mankind will ever know. The best example of man's ingenuity I have ever witnessed. There will never be a better modem. It is as good as any, and better than most. If it was a sword, it would have been tempered under the heat of a thousand suns.

I've had the gt784 from Actiontec up and running in my home for several months. First off, the installation was extremely easy. The product has a built in program that automatically connects you to your service provider (in my case AT&T). WiFi is very fast, even with over a dozen active devices (laptops, iphones, ipads, ipods, wifi cams, etc.). What really impresses me is that this product is great for novice users and experts alike. for the novice, it basically does all the hard work for you. for the expert, you have tons of features and flexibility at your fingertips! I'm also extremely pleased with the performance of the connection to my service provider. The actual data speed I'm getting is better than the unit previously supplied by my isp.

bought this to replace my failing 2Wire DSL modem which is used on Bellsouth/ATT here in NC. Install was straightforward, the wireless is strong. Had it only a month so can't speak about reliability. It works great, it's compact, easy to read and useful indicator lights. Was on sale for $60, how can you beat that....esp. when it includes wireless. BUY it., it works great on ATT.

I was happy with the price. The installation went smoothly though I did have a few hiccups that were due to BellSouth's unbelievably bad site design. Speed: Good Signal Strength: A little weak at times, really good at other times. I've had to reboot the modem about 4 times in the past week. I'm unsure as to whether this is a hardware problem with the modem or a BellSouth problem. I do like the fact that the modem has an easy-to-find power switch on the back. I don't have to unplug power and then plug back in (the little things....). I'm leaning in the BellSouth direction. I've had some history with their internet serivice being spotty, especially on the weekends . So far, so good. If it is the modem causing the internet dropping out, then it will probably continue to get worse. Only time will tell.

Had this a couple of years. Sometimes drops out, but always can reset. Really doesn't like my Kodak ESP5210 wireless printer and had to jump through a lot of hoops to make the printer work wirelessly with this router. My 2wire router burned out after 1 year warranty ended. this Actiontec is still going after a couple of years. Chose it by price. Not sorry I got it.

I was looking for a wireless router and a modem. I stumbled across this combination and was surprised at the description ratings and price. Once I had it connected to my system I was pleasantly surprised that the modem worked exceptionally well with CenturyLink DSL. And it is a strong wireless router. I also purchased the 2 year warranty through Best Buy rather than relying on the manufacturer 1 year warranty. Yes, I will recommend this product to anyone!!

i had to purchase this device because my Dlink (horrible brand) wireless router gave out. I've had two Dlink routers in the past and they both gave out in just a little under a year. i was skeptical of this brand because I've never heard of them before but honestly i'm glad i bought it. I've had this wireless modem for a couple months now and honestly its the best I've had the. very easy to setup, i was done setting up in less then 15 mins and it is running great.

My Netgear modem from AT&T went out after little over a year, I didn't want to pay AT&T $100 for them to send me another. Box says doesn't work with AT&T Uverse - I have AT&T DSL so no issue. Picked this one up for $70. Easy setup, up and running in 10 minutes, good quick start instructions. Only glitch was at first even though indicated everything good to go, wouldn't pull up internet. Went into broadband settings on advanced tab, set on ppoe, and up and running. So far, connection is great, no complaints, have multiple devices running wireless from it. . Would recommend.
