Purchased this to upgrade my sister in law's DSL service. Worked great out of the box, router has good performance

We live in the boonies where we are provided one option for DSL. Honestly, we don't pay much for our phone and internet package, but that's mostly due to our consistent nagging. Maximum speed at is 1.5 rarely achieved because of poor maintenance on the lines and cheap routers provided to us that we conveniently paid $10.00/month for. We bought this Actiontec to not only decrease our bill, but in hopes it would provide a better quality. So far so good. We did have to reset it a few times when we first got it, however, it was discovered yesterday after our internet was down there were some bad connections somewhere down the road. But so far so good with this new router. Speed seems to be at max for us more often than the providers box.

The product does what it says. I had to get a few settings from my ISP since the settings were not already in the system but once I had those I was good to go.

The Modem/Router combo was a perfect product for the price. It works well with Centurylink 7Mbps connection.

After our router (new one furnished by Verizon) began cutting out two to three times per day we bought your version. Best $ ever spent! Very satisfied!

Our last router burned out because the cat sat on it for warmth! We like the vertical mount for that reason. The signal is strong enough to reach throughout the house and doesn't bog down when two computers stream video. This model was also compatible with out Internet provider-an absolute must.

I was looking for a replacement of my 'Telnor' router(Mexico service provider) and this device did the work far from my expectations, We have a pc, laptop,tablet, a smartTV and 4 cells phone, now all can stream videos at the same time. Before only one device at the time. I am truly satisfied

Rather than pay for a rented DSL modem, I reviewed the "approved" list of modems from CenturyLink's website and the ratings for them. This one was rated well and the technology is new to take advantage of any performance gains. Very solid performance and stability. The DSL tech gave me the set-up information which was pretty easy to do when plugging the unit into a computer. Works great.

While it was easy to set up and it performed well, it appeared not to allow changing the key/passphrase from the one provided. Although you can attempt to change it, it does not allow access to the computers provided the personally created password. I will try again however, in case I just did not do it properly. It is dependable and a good value.

I bought this to replace a failed DSL modem for use with Verizon. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and was working in about a minute. I had to choose manual or advanced setup, since there was no option for it to work without pppoe or other authentication. Port forwarding was a breeze.

Easy to set up. Even the UPnP worked right out of the box. I ran the auto setup wizard and then made sure to enable the UPnP. No more issues with strick NAT policies. I highly recommend this unit to Gamers! Note - I have a Xbox 360 & and an Xbox One on this wireless network.

This is a good mid-range router. We have 5 items using it and it handles the load of streaming music,videos,and general browsing. The WiFi amply covers our entire house and about 30 feet around the outside perimeter. Easy set-up and very good tech support.

The directions were easy to follow and set-up was a snap. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and would recommend it as a perfect replacement of an existing broken router.

These make for a simple but powerful DSL interface. I have used them on Centurylink and Verizon with no issues.

Best Buy agent recommended this modem and it is 10x better than the modem Verizon gave me. Highly recommended.

This worked perfect to replace my Centurylink router tha failed. The price was very reasonable. Very easy to program as long as you have you account information from your internet provider. I would recommend this product.

needed a replacement for my 2wire. apparently att makes you buy replacement devices... anyways, setup was easy and it works fine.

I like how easy it was to set up. Versatile and so far reliable.

Purchased this router when our old one kept dropping the connection. We thought it was our DSL, but tried the router first to see if it improved anything. We have Apple TV and needed to be able to stream videos and movies over the internet. Turned out our old router was defective and this one works really well. We haven't had the issues with dropping and movies stream without error. We installed it with little effort.
