This is my second purchase of this particular modem/router. Neither has ever given me any problems. This newer model was especially easy to configure. You'll need your username and password from your DSL provider (Centurylink in my case), so get that and you'll have it working in less than 10 minutes.

This has been a great purchase. This was a purchase for my residence. I live in an area where I can only receive internet service through one provider, Windstream. I thought my only option was to buy a modem/router through Windstream. That option included paying them for the modem/router until infinity. I decided to buy this modem/router and try it. It has been a great purchase and is working great. Easy set-up with step-by-step instructions.

I purchased this Modem / Router for my daughter to replace her existing unit because she kept dropping her internet connection and she was only getting about 1/2 of her advertised speed. The new Actiontec Modem / Router was a breeze to connect, configure and activate. I never even had to call CenturyLink to activate it. As soon as we had it up and running, her internet speed doubled and is faster than I ever expected. It has been a month and there is not been a single internet connection issue and she can also now stream Netflix videos to her television with no issues. The biggest surprise was how simple it was to install and activate. It comes with its own setup wizard and all you have to do is let it walk you through the painless process. All I had to do was enter her username and password and that was it. I highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a stable, robust, and reliable ADSL Modem / Router.

I bought this on sale and love it! It replaced my c1000a that was fried in a storm.

Very happy with this product. Our wi fi had been very unreliable for quiet a while in our home. It is nice to finally have a product that everyone in the house can be on the various tech items and not have to argue over who's turn it is to go reset the wifi. Happy campers in my house

works fine, had no problems, it could be hang off the floor on the wall, that I did.

We were constantly having issues with the internet access in the house and could rarely get a connection or keep a connection. Once the new router was installed no problem since. Its a big deal in a house where everyone is trying to use there laptops and ipads at the same time.

This is a great modem if u want to replace it on century link and a lot cheaper its a better product if u ask me

My old CenturyLink router bit the dust so I checked to see what Best Buy had available to replace it and and found several to choose from that were compatible for centuryLink. I decided to look into further another Actiontec because that is the brand supported by CenturyLink. All the reviews were quite positive and the price was right so I went to pick one up and was told by the BB sales associate that the Actiontec router would not work in my area and I had a choice between two routers which cost 2 to 3 times more than the ActionTec model. I objected to that Idea and purchased the ActionTec anyway and went home and installed it. The installation was easy and straight forward with minimal effort. I was on line in about 30 minutes. I will caution you the if your service is greater than 20 meg then you will need to purchase the more expensive modem.. Fortunately, my service did not exceed this speed so this router is perfect for me and the price was right too.

Easy to install on Century Link DSL. We will see how long it lasts. That's the real test on a product like this.

Cheaper than a modem and a router. Easier to install, good signal (range). Small footprint when installed upright.

Least expensive unit in store, but yet it has performed quite well. Easy setup (as long as you have correct info from your ISP). Overall a great purchase.
