We bought this as an extender for our existing service. It works pretty well but occasionally gets messed up and we have to reset it.

This is combo router and modem. The price is great for this combo unit. Best Buy was actually cheaper than Amazon this time. It's easy to setup and you will be up and running in no time. I had no problem using it with Century Link. No issues with bad connections so far.

Product was very reasonable for price. Home set up was simple, but had to use factory service representative to complete installation due to computer settings. The actiontech product representative was very helpful and easy to communicate/talk with while setting up the router.

I had to purchase a new modem/WiFi router because my original unit suffered surge damage (even though it was plugged into a surge protector). The Actiontec unit is an easy plug and play modem/router with typical setup procedures that are well documented in the quick start guide. There are much more expensive options out there, but for under $100, the Actiontec wired connection serves my family well for our desktop, and we also stream wirelessly our entire TV service, wifi to my phone, and to three tablets for the wife and kids!

I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to upgrade to or replace their existing wireless modem. It is to setup, and requires almost not maintenance

This router needs special set up instructions from the manufacturer to work with Frontier. Works but people skills of tech person there needs help! Would've given it 5 stars otherwise.

I purchased this to replace the DSL modem from my ISP. The one I have from them is 5-6 yrs old, and unsupported. They however want more to replace it than the purchase price of this router. Out of the box it was an easy setup and in less than 10 minutes I was up and running. It's been very stable and the wireless is as good as I get from my Apple router.

After struggling with the Netgear set-up, this one worked perfectly and almost set itself up.

This modem/router is being used just as a DSL modem on Centurylinks network and seems to be interfacing well.I have had many problems with Centurylinks 10 mega byte service so I bought this modem as a spare as it replaced the origional Actiontec same model.to prove to Centurylink that my equment wasn't causing loss of internet service as they always seem to want to blame the end user..This is my way to switch modems on the fly so they can't point he finger at my equipment. This modem/router seems to be very reliable I am using an EA8500 linksys AC router with Modem..Seems to have no interface problems..

We needed a new router, did a bunch of research and are very happy with this model. Great buy!

This is an easy set up, to update an outdated Router.

The price is right very affordable look out netgear

I had to get DSL service since it was the only service available where I lived. The provider told me I needed a modem to get the internet and sent me theirs for $100. I thought this was too much for a piece of equipment I could only use with DSL service (which I'll likely never get again). I found this modem at Best Buy and it works much better and faster than the one from the provider, so I returned theirs.

A combo unit doesn't come any better then this. Easy to setup and price was right.

I've used this for over 10 months with absolutely no problems.

This router is a good replacement for the AT&T 2 WIRE gateway. It can be used wirelessly over Wi-Fi and can also be used wired with an Ethernet cable. So long as you know your AT&T ID (usually your AT&T e-mail address) and the "network" password (not your AT&T e-mail password), the set up is easy.

Great router for the money. Compatible with multiple network providers, easily set-up in just a few moments. Highly recommend this router for anyone wanting to set up a home network from DSL.

Very easy to set up in a few minutes. Works great with Verizon internet.
