Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2020 is easy to use and does a great job of editing your photos and videos. They added some really nice additions to the new version. Definitely worth the price!

Elements has a lot of power like the full versions

Can't afford the full Photoshop or Adobe's online subscriptions? Elements has much of the same power as the full-blown program. OK, if you are a theater-style professional, then, maybe. However, I have shot and edited several wedding videos and burned to blue-ray or posted them online and I haven't had any complaints of the presentation. Premier/Photoshop Elements bundle comes on sale every few months--often for $89-99. But, even at full-price this is a good buy for someone who wants to do more than the cheaper programs.

    Premiere Crashes

Wanted to upgrade my copy of Photoshop Elements and thought I'd try the Premiere Elements video editing program so I got the bundle. Photoshop Elements has been working fine. Premiere Elements keeps crashing on me though. I was running Windows 8.1 with 8GB of RAM on an i7 Intel processor, so thought I'd be fine. Rendering the final video, even a short one under ten minutes took a lot longer than I would have expected. Just upgraded to Windows 10 so I'll have to see if that solves the crashing issue.

Decided to use stand alone application instead of subscription. Only OK, as Elements is only application to work on my Windows 10 desktop system. Dismal support w/out subscription. Multiple removals/installations does not alleviate the fact Premier Elements is not fully compatible with windows 10. Partial resolve is that my laptop Macbook Pro works w/out issue and with the EULA you can use on two systems: mobile and desktop as they are both in use by me.

This comes as a bundle with a photo editor (Elements 2020) & video editor (Premiere 2020). Elements has three modes: Quick, Guided, and Expert. I use all three for different needs. I love the Guided mode because it guides you on how to correct skin tone for those images that make you look a little too yellow, shows you how to remove unwanted objects in what would be a perfect photo, and many other fixes. There are multiple options that I have yet to explore. Love that I also get the video editor for when I need to edit & put together home videos!

I go to college for communications, and for that major, I have to be able to edit videos. Instead of using a school computer, I saved up the money to afford Premiere Elements and it works well so far. I was scared when I got it because there was a window that popped up saying I still needed a subscription, but that’s just in case you don’t have the licensing code from Adobe’s website after you register your product. Note: you don’t need a disc drive to install, there is a download code in the box if you need it!

A good but slow photo and video editing program

You are buying a stripped-down no-nonsense photo and video editor. It is good for beginners who want to clean up their pictures. You get all the basic features, such as brightness, color, contrast, hue and white-balance control. It also has some features that Adobe's professional PhotoShop application. But the apps does come at a cost, speed. I have a really fast computer, a AMD3900X with 32 GB RAM and a SSD hard drive. Even with this setup, the program is a bit slow. Not unbearably sow but my PC ranks in the 96% percentile of desktop PCs. If you can put up with the speed issues, it is still a good buy because the regular PhotoShop requires a subscription, e.g. you must pay Adobe an annual fee for use while Elements is a one shot $100 purchase (when it is on sale)... Also, be aware that Elements still does not support the latest version of .raw image files which has been out for a couple of years. You would think Adobe would get its act together by now...

Basic Must Have for Photo/Video Editing

This is a must have if you want to edit your photos and or videos. Lots a features to make average pictures look much better! Crop out extra stuff that shouldn't be there to create something you can be proud to display on the walls of your home. The video editing has powerful tools but you need to read to understand how to use them as they are not intuitive.

I am an amateur DSLR photographer and this program has been a live saver. I originally went in to purchase the Adobe Creative suite, but had some difficulties doing that - so I went to the next best thing which was this one - which was an update for me from a previous version. This one will do if you are in a pinch money wise until you are able to buy the full version of photoshop.

    Photoshop c6 no longer worked

With the latest OS update, my photoshop c6 no longer worked. Because of this I was left with no photo editing software my latest computer. I have used photoshop for years and decided to try Elements 2020. Just loaded this on my computer, so I have only used it very little. I am going to have to sit and use it more before I can give an honest review. I like other versions of photoshop, so I am pretty sure, after I've used it more, I will like it.

Downloading the software couldn’t be easier. Download it from their website, enter product key, and you are good to go! The software features three “modes” which are Quick, Guided, and Expert. These range from easiest to most difficult to use for the beginner or if you are familiar with these products then they offer less to full control. Having next to no experience with Adobe products I found Guided really good for my average use however I would like to get into the expert to use more functionality. The features of Premier and Photoshop are nearly endless so you will definitely find the tool you need within these products! Personally I use Photoshop to remove background objects and color correct pictures. Ultimately, I really have enjoyed using both pieces of their software. For many people, their suite monthly subscription may be too expensive. With this download you can get two of the best pieces of software for a one-time price (cheaper than buying them separately). The software is full of features, easy to use, performs well, and comes at a great price! If you are searching for digital editing software Adobe has you covered!

As a former Adobe CS user, this is a bit of a downgrade for me. Still, it's capabilities make it an excellent choice for the average user. It will probably be very adequate for me as I am now retired and will only be doing personal photos. For the price and lifetime license, you can't expect all the bells and whistles of Adobe CS.

I've used Adobe Photoshop since version 3. But I'm not a professional user and don't wish to purchase a perpetual subscription for any product, including Adobe. Elements gives me the vast majority of things that I have used for years in Photoshop, plus new extras. I still use my Creative Suite 6, but I really, really enjoy standalone software that I don't have to lease by the month.

Have worked with this editing software for years in a variety of versions and always found it reliable. Because I have used it for years the video editing seems to make a lot of sense to me. But if you are new to Elements and wondering where to get quick and easy instructions ho to You Tube. I've ground Steve Grisetti especially helpful.

Adobe gives you three ways to edit and create content by allowing you to edit in beginner, advanced, and expert modes. Once you learn the basics in beginner, you simply switch over to advanced to learn more effects and other features, then expert once you feel comfortable. The controls are easy to learn and there are also tons of help videos to get you started.
