Nice receiver. Looks good, works great. Took 2 weeks to get Best Buy install appointment. They didn't check the reverse camera. It was pointing in the air first time I put the camera in reverse. The back-up camera I purchased was not the best. Can't get it to look down enough to see the bumper. Oh well, no big deal. The installers lost a button on the gear shift console. not sure what it did but it is not there any more. The receiver has good radio reception, my Android Auto works. Spotify and Pandora both work thru the Android Auto. It has a split screen for the maps and music, nice feature! Best Buy installers didn't even set up the time. When I got home I noticed. Tried to use the set up button but it doesn't work unless you double pump the hand brake, would have been nice to know. Nothing a Google search couldn't fix, you would think the installers would tell you something like that. Overall it is a nice system. Only had it a week. So far everything works fine now that I know how to use it.

Got this for my truck and it is definitely an upgrade! It has crossovers in it so the sound w my subs make it sound like you are at a concert. I’ve had it for over a year now and I do not have any complaints. Great price as well

Good radio, works well. My son is happy with it and that's all that matters. Don't like that the E break has to be on to do certain functions, but besides that, sounds good and wasn't a bad price.

I really like the looks of the radio in my truck. The radio is really easy to navigate which makes it easy to use. I don’t like the emergency brake to operate the radio but I guess safety first. That will be changed other than that it’s a very good radio for the money.

Very good product, a good upgrade if you want to play music louder, you may have to upgrade your speakers as well. My speakers started distorting after going past 17 in volume. Apple play and blue tooth work well

The sound is great, bluetooth works well and connect quickly. No problems with the CarPlay or anything else. Only complaint is that it doesn’t show the album art on music but if you don’t care about that then it’s perfect.

I have an 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I have put a lot of money into and gave it a lot of class. With that being said I was not interested in a competition stereo with amps and speakers all over the place. This fits in the dash very nice and very flush and the amp they make that goes with this snaps right on the back of it and combined with Alpine speakers I am certain I am going to enjoy this well more than stock. How loud does it really have to be? I'm a musician but I'm 53 years old and I'm not trying to entertain people on the next block. I wanted something that would sound good in my vehicle that is crystal clear and that I can feel. Alpine has a very nice system here. Very classy yet custom look with premium sound which is exactly what I was going for.

This unit instantly made my speakers sound better over the stock unit. However, it’s glitchy. Sometimes it just won’t work at all, not reading my Apple phone for CarPlay. I’ve actually had to listen to the radio for hours because it wouldn’t hook up. I’ve changed out the cord several times, but still remains unreliable. This doesn’t happen constantly…or I would just yank it out, but enough to be annoying every now and then. I’ll probably end up buying a better unit soon and put it in my work van…it’s in my Ram at the moment. Overall, it’s good for the price.

I buy this and installed myself on a 2015 Kia Forte. From the beginning I was ok with using Android Auto thru a cable and loosing the steering wheel controls. I bought this because it was new and discounted 100+ dlls at my BB store which put it on the same price range of the JVC I was gonna buy originally. I was able to retain my OEM backup camera but required some manual wiring The good: Sounds much better than the OEM stereo using the OEM speakers. Having Android Auto is great Bluetooth connectivity is solid The bad: Screen colors look washed out Interface looks old and there is no way to personalize it USB connectivity to my Samsung Galaxy phone didn't work with the included cable. I have to test 5 cables until one of them work, this was the most annoying part Lots of echo during phone calls

Great stereo, this is a great stereo for the price. Sounds great and works well with my Rockford Fosgate amp and subs. I love how easy it was to add a backup camera to my ruck with this as well. Having apple music and android auto is also amazing. It does get a little buggy if you are on a call, with a GPS open, and you get a text. But overall it is great!

Works great in my Jeep Wrangler JKU (07-18). Android auto works excellent, and the included extension USB cable is working well for me. Has great sound balancing options, satellite radio, and the backup camera on-screen markers are adjustable. There were only a couple wires I had to hook up in the back too so honestly I really didn't need a harness adapter (I don't have steering wheel controls) but they're available and work well if you do. This is definitely one of the best low-price fullscreen head units.

Excellent head unit. Replaced stock unit in a 2011 civic. Perfect fit with the new double din dash plate (bought separately). Apple car play is awesome... completely syncs just about everything with an Iphone. Have not tried android but assume it's the same. I have this powering a 2200w complete system. Once in a blue moon, it does clip, I think it's from heat because I have the alpine KTP-445U mounted behind it but it rarely happens, only when I'm really pushing it for long extended periods. There's a TON of x-over/eq settings, but you don't get to access them unless car is in park and e-brake is on. But there's a TON. (I use none of them, all filtering is done at the amp level). I do hate that you can't customize the wallpaper. I think that would have been a great feature to add. Also, would have been great if it streamed youtube videos. I get it... it's a safety feature... but even in park with e-brake on... you cannot stream video to it... BUT... you can put video onto a USB stick and with the car in park and ebrake on, you can view videos on said USB stick. Other than that... nice crisp, clear head unit... exactly what you'd expect from Alpine.

I was surprised this needed an additional cord so that my phone could be attached at all times. Im still figuring out all this radio has to offer, but it’s definitely an upgrade and the price was very reasonable.

I liked this unit because we wanted satellite radio and didn’t need CDs or nav. The bonus was that the unit was shallow and easier for the car installer guys to deal with. The unit is easy to operate and everything works as expected. Alpine goes the extra mile with safety by making you come to a full stop and activate/release/activate the parking brake in order to adjust system settings - stuff you shouldn’t be doing while driving. We really love this unit. Price was excellent and the installation experience was efficient and hassle-free.
