I bought this for work, where we have music playing in the office all day. We couldn’t be happier with it. It takes up zero space, is very affordable, and offers multiple connections. It is also VERY easy to use, and the range is good. Would buy this again. If you need to connect speakers that don’t have Bluetooth capability to a Bluetooth device, this is it.

Works well for use with home music system

I bought this product for playing music on my new home stereo system, which requires a cable input. I didn't like being tied to the location of the sound system with my phone to select music to play. Also, at parties it was too easy for people to unplug my phone and play their own music if I wasn't standing right next to it. This product solved my problems. It works very well, allowing me to have my phone at my side, as well as making it difficult for people to change the music. The range is good enough for my house; my phone can reach from anywhere downstairs, but the signal gets spotty if I take my phone upstairs or out onto the porch. Connecting my phone was pretty easy. Charging takes a couple hours, and a full charge lasts for at least 5-7 hours of use. There is a tone that beeps every couple minutes when the battery gets low, but by the time it starts, the device dies after about 5-10 minutes, so it isn't really helpful, as I usually use this for at least an hour at a time. I have not had issues with the product, and it seems to be of good quality. It is small and compact, and an overall good product that fits my needs.

    Made Sony MDR-10R headphones wireless!

I bought this product with a slightly different use in mind. I have a pair of amazing Sony MDR10R Hi-Res headphones, but they are not bluetooth capable. When i bought this i wasn't sure if this would have the battery power to run these over ear high quality headphones and last a reasonable amount of time. When I bought it, I opened up the package and charged the device, and had to trim the plastic with a knife because the headphone jack in the headphones is slightly smaller. But with a steady hand, that was no problem. I plugged it in and connected the device to my phone via bluetooth and voila! It worked! it had then been uncharged and plugged in for two days and I connected it to my new Surface Pro 3, listened to half an hour of Spotify and watched 4 episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and after I was finished it was still not dead! I used sticky back velcro to hold it securely to my phones. You won't have quite the volume control, but for about 20 bucks this can make a great pair of over ear headphones into a pair of bluetooth wireless phones! And if it lasted that well on headphones, I'm sure it will last on another device. I highly recommend! My next step is to buy a transmitter and see if I can use my guitar headphone amps wirelessly.

I had no idea that they made these at a low cost of $30. I've been wanting to get blue tooth installed in my Infiniti fx35 which is an older 08 model, but I wondered across this while I was shopping for a home entertainment system. I haven't used it for anything else but my car. It definitely comes in handy for Iphone 7 and up users who use an aux cord because it gives us the capability to charge and pay music at the same time. With this you can listen to music wirelessly and charge your phone at the same time. Sound quality is just as good as when I have my phone directly plugged up to an aux. Good Item, glad i came across it. Ohh and don't loose the charger because its a tiny input which is not your average charger.

Owned mine for right at a year or close to it. When just streaming music through it to my factory truck stereo in my 2013 GMC Sierra pickup, it performed as it should with decent quality sound. Battery had a decent life to it. Never monitored exactly how long but never had a concern with battery life. BUT this thing would wreck phone calls if I had it connected to my phone and someone called in and I answered through my truck. So much terrible interference. Again, for music streaming to my truck from my phone, it performed as decent as I expect for $30. But after about a year of owner ship my battery blew the case apart today and now I'm afraid to even try to use it.

This little device has exceeded my expectations! The battery life is excellent and its Bluetooth connectivity always connects with any BT device I bring in my car. And the most important feature, the sound quality! The sound quality is excellent! It's as good as connecting with a cable! The signal output is free off noise or signal "pops". Not just for use in your car but also works great anywhere you want to transmit a stereo signal to any device with a 1/4 inch jack. I would highly recommend this!

Easy to setup and use. Good sound quality. Battery life seems good after 4 weeks of use, it lasts for 3 or 4 days with 2 hours usage per day. Suggestion for improvement is to make the cable more sturdy and the connector in "L" shape to better fit the car AUX area.

I kept my expectations low, but to my surprise this little unit works really well. Great range, and better than expected sound with decent speakers. I have it setup in my garage for tunes while I work. I'm using it with the 3.5mm plug. It's attached to a set of computer speakers with built in amplification and subwoofer. I stream using both my iPad and iPhone. I have been using it with the charger plug into the wall while in use. Battery life is good (about 2.5 hours), but since my setup is near a plug, why not??? Wonderful little device. Highly recommend.

I purchased this bluetooth aux cable essentially, so I wouldnt need to have an enormous aux cable connected to my phone all the time while I'm driving, it was super easy to install, plugs right into existing car power outlets and so small it's easy to hide and turn your old stock or existing corded aux outlet car radio, into a universal bluetooth connection for wire free and no hassle enjoyment of audio. Definetly reccomend if you are looking to get that new car radio phone to radio connection feel. I reccomend it so much I bought 3 for each of my vehicles.

I purchased a new TV and didn't realize that it has no audio output jack. This prevented me from being able use my IR-wireless headphones with this TV because the headphones require a 3.3 mm or RCA audio cables. The TV is bluetooth capable so I purchased this device to connect the TV to the device via bluetooth and use the device to output the audio to my headphone's dock via the 3.5 mm audio cable. It works great, has a very small footprint, the sound quality is very good, and easily reconnects whenever I use it.

I teach indoor biking classes in my spare time and I have been accumulating tech accessories that make my job easier and provide a better experience for my participants. I initially used a 25' cord to connect my iPod Touch to the speaker. FYI, the speaker is in the back of the room, and the iPod is attached to the handlebars on my bike. The downside of that set up was making sure no one tripped over the wire or pulled the wire causing my iPod to become detached from its anchor (of which I was the worst offender). Plus, I was getting some static when the cable moved in certain directions. I had $10 in Best Buy reward certificates, so I went shopping to see if there was an alternative to the cord. I quickly found this and read that it works with iPods. Most people have iPhones, so this would work for them as well. I took it home and charged up the bluetooth receiver. I went to the gym where I work to test out the connection. Unfortunately, the speaker is older and did not have ports that worked with the cables provided. I went to Radio Shack and for $6.00, got a coupling that allowed me to connect to the speaker. The bluetooth receiver is easy to turn on and turn off (3-5 sec). It was incredible easy to pair with my iPod (6-7 sec). The sound is great, and works in the back of the room (which must be less than 33 feet away). Because this receiver pairs with 6 devices, I can get my money's worth and use it with other devices. With a 12 hour playback time, I won't need to recharge it after every use. I am very happy with this purchase and am looking to find other ways to use it.

I had been shopping around for a while trying to find Bluetooth speakers so that I could listen to music in my home from my iTunes account. I had not been able to find a set of speakers that could give me the same quality of sound I was used to with my home stereo speakers. I have a really nice home stereo system but I have to insert a cd to listen to music. I really just wanted to be able to select music to listen to from my iPad or iPhone. The iStream Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver is the perfect solution to my problem! I am able to select music wirelessly from my mobile devices while still utilizing my home stereo speakers!!!

I found this product on my way out of the store. I was warned by some of the sales rep that it may not have a good of sound quality as some of the Bluetooth devices in the car audio area of the store, but I decided to give it a try and have been pleasantly surprised with how well it works! It sounds great and it is small and lightweight enough that it plugs into my stereo with ease! I’m definitely satisfied with the value of this product.

Use to add Bluetooth to my factory Harley Davidson Harmon Kardon radio. Easy to use, works great, and the battery lasts all day. Only issue is the power button is tiny and sometimes sticks in the depressed position.

Easy to pair with iPhone great connectivity and range is about 30 feet. I have it always charging in the car so it stays on and half the time it connects to my phone by itself and the other half I have to go to my phone Bluetooth Menu and connect to it. You cannot use it to make or receive calls at all, for that you have to use speaker phone or pull over to answer the call. Also if found that if you are using it for music and then you answear a call after a minute or so it does this weird thing where people cannot hear you anymore, its happened a few times and the only way is to quickly turn off Bluetooth and people can hear you on their end again.

I bought this device because I happened to see it a couple of weeks before at Best Buy (I was shopping for something else). I researched this device through bestbuy.com, and I was convinced to buy it the next time I went to Best Buy. I used this on my stereo in the basement. It's a pretty decent stereo, but it didn't have Bluetooth. I set this device up through my smartphone and listened to the stereo. Very decent sound depending on the audio quality of my mp3 audio. The only gripe I have is that I wish the range was longer. But I like this device.

I have used a cable to play music from my phone to the car for years. Just bought a new Phone and decided it was time to switch to bluetooth. This works great. Paired it to the phone, plugged it into the stereo and my phone connects when I get in the car. Nice not to have to plug and unplug the phone every time I get in and out. Perfect sound. Holds a long charge.

I wanted this simply to listen to music through the stereo on my boat. Did not buy it for hands-free calling, or other phone functions, so I can not comment on those features. The first unit I bought did not last long before it started cutting out whenever it was handled. Would not be a problem, if you didn't have to push a button to turn it on, and put it into pairing mode. I exchanged it for a new one. The new unit has been fine so far. Once connected, the sound is very good, and the range exceeds their claims of approx 30 feet.

I have been using this bluetooth transmitter for about 6 months now. I originally purchased this from Bestbuy so I could watch/listen to sports thru my new Bose Bluetooth Headphones on my big screen T.V. It was very easy to pair the transmitter to my headphones then I just plugged it into the headphone jack on the back of my TV and the audio was streaming to my headphones. Very simple to get setup I must say. I have a USB port on the back of my T.V. so I plugged the included USB charging cable into there so it is always charged.
