Amazon fire tv stick is best streaming device among other competitors like Chromecast, Roku, Nvidia - great speed, easy to set up and wireless works perfectly fine if you have a decent broadband connection. Best buy is very reliable buying it here and they do price match as well. I just reduced one star, before youtube is something will be withdrawn from google starting 1/1/2018 which we have to wait and see whether any agreement been made between these two. If youtube is unavailble then it will be big downside though you can use it with program subscriptions.

I originally bought a FireTv Stick for the TiVo app. Sadly TiVo app doesn't work anymore. I really like the UI of Fire TV, and it runs very smooth. I use Firefox to browse the net. Alexa can help you answer questions, search for your favorite movie or TV show. The cost of this device is great!! $35-$40 You can't go wrong. Amazon is a one stop shop.

The Fire Stick is so popular for a reason, it's a great streaming tool for multiple any tv in the house. With so many apps and the Alexa voice remote, it's the best you can get. It is also the one of the cheapest out there.

Earlier this month, my TV entertainment included Dish 200+ channel satellite TV, 20Mbps turbo internet, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. After doing some research, I bought 3 Amazon Fire Sticks with the voice remote, cancelled Dish, upgraded to 30Mbps internet, added Sling 25 channels, added standard Hulu, and CBS All Access. Guess who still gets 96+% of the channels watched, added Prime Music and several hundred shows (that networks don't play) to all the TVs in the house, and saved over $700 per year compared to what I paid this past year? I did. I never thought of "cutting the cord" until I really looked into it all. Getting Amazon Fire Sticks are worth it and they work well....and once you get used to knowing what show plays where, it's a no-brainer. Just like how you originally had to figure out how to use a smart phone back in the day. After a while, it's a breeze. I highly recommend everything I listed in this review. Seriously....take a couple hours and make a spread-sheet listing the must-have shows that people in your household watch. Then make a comparison to what's available on the streaming services. If you're like me, and you don't watch 80% of the channels you pay for, it's so worth it.

It just works! Fast and with alexa things are really easy to use. I like it because in my opinion you pay a fraction of what others cost and the quality is amazing. I would recommend to install the Fire TV app on your smartphone and use it instead of the remote, so that you have a full keyboard whenever you need to type or search for something.

This actually my second purchase of this item. In thinking of purchasing another one soon so all of our Tv's has a fire stick. Normally you can just unplug it and move it to another TV...but I don't mind just purchasing since its great for the price. Its awesome if you don't wanna pay for cable and if u wanna turn your TV into a semi smart TV.

I have smart TV's and found that the fire stick is much smoother than the system on the TV. Fire TV allows you to voice command apps. It turns your TV into an Alexa. You can add outlets/lights that you can control with your fire tv remote. I used chromecast in the past and this is much better. You don;t need a phone or computer to run this.

Overall this Streaming device is quite simple and easy to use. I do wish that the Amazon Firestick did support Spectrum TV App. I originally purchased this device to replace a digital cable box in my home that was very seldom used. Spectrum TV is my current provider, come to find out that the Fire Stick does not support the Spectrum TV App. I was a little bummed but I could still use it to stream other Apps that are very nice. Got it on sale for $34.99 really can't beat the price point, considering i was using an older gaming console for my streaming.

I really like that I can speak to the fire stick to find shows. It is much easier than scrolling to find a show. Best of all, it will allow me to dump cable. It is a bit overwhelming trying to figure out Hulu, sling or other options to use with the fire stick, but I am confident that in a few months it will be just as easy as cable was.

Had (still have) Apple TV 2 in my bedroom. It’s great. Have AppleTV 4K in my living room. LOVE it and all the upgrades they did to it since the older model I had. Have the Amazon Fire Stick TV in my office. Love it as well. Works great and operates very smooth and efficient. I can get all the apps that I use and want. Has a tv remote app you can download. And the price is unbeatable. The product itself competes with all the other streaming devices out there IMO, but it’s cheaper..... by HUNDREDS of dollars compared to some of the other options. If I could only minus a half star I would because I only have 2 small gripes..... 1. I wish Alexa worked with more things, and that she worked better. I can’t seem to get her to do most (pretty much anything at all) of what I ask her too. I’ve tried reading up about it online and watching videos thinking it was user error or something but still can’t get Alexa to work properly I feel.... 2. I wish that there didn’t have to be a power cord hanging down from the TV and not sure why there has to be one at all...chromecast and other things I’ve seen that plug into the TV don’t need a power cord, why to the fire stick....? Overall good product that I use everyday. Certainly competes with any other streaming device out there.

Hard to find fault with this model Fire TV Stick. It is noticeably faster than the previous generation and has performed flawlessly.. The Alexa voice control is a very handy bonus. I also like how compact this model is as I take it on vacations with me. Just an all around well designed and engineered device for its attended purpose.

This is way better than my apple TV! I love that it is customizable with all of the different apps and they can be rearranged. I wish I had the ability to watch my iTunes digital copies, but with all of the apps, there are plenty of places to watch movies! It's easy to move from room to room, and the Alexa voice control is a huge plus.

I have a lot if streaming devices. So this was gonna be another addition. How useful? I just found out. The Alexa voice integration gives the Echo dot a powerful search tool. I use it on a 1080P LED TV and the picture and sound are good. If you put it in the context of the price, it is truly worth it. Go ahead and you wont regret it!!

The fire stick works great. Turns any tv into a "smart" tv. Netflix and Amazon videos works great. Love the voice feature. Also great place to store pictures and view on your tv. Easy to use. Just plug in and it's ready to go!

We use the FireTV's on all our TV's. I actually purchased this to turn our van's entertainment system into a "smart" tv setup. I was able to put this into our van's HDMI port and connect it to a mobile hotspot. Works perfectly. The kids already knew how to navigate it and they can stream whatever they want to watch now, instantly.

The Amazon Fire Stick is almost frustratingly easy to use. It’s plug and play at its most basic. You can switch it between TV’s or, when Best Buy has a twofer deal, get two! It’s worth it. Essentially, you plug this is to your TV, and it takes the place of a wireless Blu-ray player. It’s also quicker (load-wise) than a wireless Blu-ray player. I suppose if you have a new model smart TV already, this may seem excessive, but it’s not fighting with everything else the TV is trying to keep track of - it’s there for one reason and one reason only: streaming. And streaming quickly. Plus, with the voice remote, you can speak to search no matter what menu or app you may be in, and it’ll look it up lickety-split. Good stuff.

I added this to another TV in the house. I have been happy with the FireStick in the past, so I stayed with the product I know. I am pleased with the function of Alexa. It beats using the remote to navigate typing. I also recommend the FireTV app for smartphones because you are able to use it to type using your phone keyboard.

Ultimately I bought this for its voice activated control of my ring security cameras, and I must say they play very well with each other. Honestly I couldn’t be happier with how quickly this device is able to turn my tv on, switch to the correct source, and pull up the camera feed I instructed it to. Very slick system overall.
