I purchased this for $29, it may have gone back up to $39, but even at that price, it is worth it. I don't know why it's taken me this long to "check this thing out" I went and purchased another one. I use Amazon Prime videos, music, of course, but it has SOOO many other things, I am testing PS VUE now, loving it! And ALEXA, this thing is awesome, all of this for 29-39. Go get you one NOW!

This device cost less than $40 at the time of purchase, yet it functions with the speed and power of a device twice the price of this. I would highly recommend this device due to The fact that when it comes to TV boxes you were definitely getting the most bang for your buck with this device. It supports thousands of apps including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime videos, and many more. I also enjoy the fact that it comes with a voice remote. Typing can be a real pain with no keyboard. The Alexa voice remote removes the need for typing a lot of the time. Overall this is a great device and I don't really see any cons with it when you compare it to other devices like it.

It’s no wonder Bezos is so rich, Amazon is in every part of my life from groceries to entertainment. This thing is great, fast and Alexa voice control is awesome.

Great product to use for Netflix streaming an Sling. Have one downstairs, but decided to replace the Chromecast upstairs with this as it is a bit easier to use.

I have Roku and a Chromecast so I'm familiar e these devices. It's very simple to set-up and easy to use. It has all the content you need so it works wonderful.

This firestick is great for the bedroom. I love that I can talk to it using the Alexa voice control. It makes it so easy to navigate around apps and channels!!

From the initial setup, to the user friendly menu, the Fire Stick is a slam dunk. Great price and has all the apps that you’d want. Would definitely recommend!

Overall this is a great product and for the price (under $40 shipped while not on sale) it's hard to find any glaring faults. It's Wi-Fi only so if your TV is in part of the building where signal strength isn't so good you may need to purchase a Wi-Fi extender or better yet purchase a FireTV and run an ethernet cable directly to it. It's much faster than the original Fire TV stick and doesn't seem to lag. I would put it on par with the FireTV being sold at the end of 2016, at least from my personal experience with it so far. The voice control with Alexa is great and by itself is worth the upgrade if you have an existing first generation Fire Stick. My only complaint is the controller. Not the actual function, but the pictogram for the battery placement. I couldn't figure out why the controller wouldn't recognize on initial startup and thought it was a defective unit. I opened my second new FireTV Stick and took the remove from that and tried again with the same result. Swapping batteries didn't fix it so I thought I had two defective units. It wasn't until I looked closely that I noticed that the batteries were backwards despite what is displayed inside the battery tray of the controller. The negative end on the battery will push against the spring loaded terminal on the controller and the positive end of the battery will snap in to the recessed contact on the top of the controller. Amazon should update the controller because this can be a huge frustration.

My older TV wasn't able to connect or cast, and this solved everything. So easy to install, and now I can watch my Netflix and prime movies on my older TV.

The Firestick was really easy to setup and use, Alexa is great and very dependable. The voice commands was easy to hook up and to get started watch movies.

This is a really cool product. Small and compact. Easy to install/set up. Awesome if you also have Amazon Prime so that you have access to the free content!

This is a great device very easy to use and for the price you cannot beat it. I would say this allow you to take your TV with you were ever you want to go

Easy set up - works well with our apps - Alexa understands requests (except when the hubby calls her Alice!). We have a fire stick on each of our 4 tv's.

will not go back to cable again. This one time expense let's me enjoy shows, movies and download apps that we enjoy. Yes, its limited in space compared to the Fire tv but I only need this in my bedroom.most of our movie watching happens in our family room(with FIRE TV) so this is perfect for a bit of watching before going to bed. No live tv, just shows and movies but that's fine with me. i was paying over $160 for cable tv for channels I wasn't even watching. since we moved, we don't have residential cable in our area and I refuse to do DISH. STREAMING WAS the best option

For the price it’s an awesome product. No hassle to set up, great picture quality and a quick respond using the Fire TV stick remote control with Alexa!.

I’ve owned a Fire TV since the first generation and have loved it from the beginning. Only until recently did I have a single issue and that is the Direct TV Now app buffers a lot using any Fire TV product. I know it’s not the device as the app works great as on my Apple TV. And all other apps work perfectly using my Fire TV products. There’s a great selection of shows and movies especially if you pay for the Amazon Prime membership which also gets you free shipping and many other benefits. My wife likes the Fire Stick over the Apple TV and uses it most of the time.

In moving towards cutting the cable cord, I purchased this for streaming. The Alexa feature was a nice added bonus. All works well and is simple to use.
