I bought the Firestick for the TV in my guest room instead of paying for an extra cable box. The TV isn't used that frequently so with my Amazon and Netflix subscription guests can watch a movie or a tv show. Setup was really easy. Plugged it into the hdmi on my TV then to a power source, signed into my home wifi, logged on to Amazon and Netflix - done. For the black Friday price in was definitely worth it!

Fire tv stick turns every tv into a smart tv. I like how affordable the fire stick is and how it comes with so much in it. I use it for all of my online streaming such as youtube, netflix, directv now, and amazon prime videos. it works great i would recommend it.

So far this has been an easy to install and use device that delivers great streaming content using the minimal remote or Alexa. It's small and doesn't clutter up the area around your tv at all. I agree with other reviewers, the batteries that come installed are drained quickly. I haven't purchased new ones yet so I can't comment about other brands...we will see soon how the other ones will hold up though, until then I'll reserve the 5th star.

I found out one day when I was speaking to my mother that she loves watching movies on Netflix. So I said that's great so you get to watch your movies in the comfort of your own bed. She then said no I watch them in my office on my PC. I was shocked as I thought she had a blue-ray player and was streaming through the player to her TV, I found the Amazon Fire Stick to be the easiest solution now she watches not only Netflix but also Amazon Prime as I have an account she can use to watch Amazon movies as well. She was so thrilled and it took all of 15 min to setup. I saw she was using component cables and quickly remedied that by going to get her an HDMI cable. She was like the picture is so much clearer I explained HDMI gives you 1080P resolution just as if you were watching a Blu-Ray movie. Made her day and glad I could help my 77 year old mother with something so simple to setup and just the look on her face was worth every penny.

Was super easy to install and use. It's relatively inexpensive and was worth the money.

I got this for my mom who's a little behind on the technology "know-how". She has always wanted to watch all these shows on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc that are being talked about but she only had cable because she didn't know how to stream shows. A quick 10 minute lesson from me and she is addicted to Netflix and Hulu just like everyone else. Highly recommended if you love to stream shows and movies.

The Amazon Fire Stick is an amazing device ! Its really easy to use and it works with Alexa which is great and dependable. Ask Alexa pretty much anything and she will help you find it. The AFS plugs into the HDMI jack on your TV and it also comes with a power adapter that plugs into the wall, real easy to set up. As long as you have Wi-Fi and a prime membership with Amazon and you'll be good to go.

Can't go wrong for the price, compact and powerful,saved me money on cutting the cord.
