As a die-hard Google fan, I was stubborn about buying one of these. I was used to casting everything to my Chromecast, but wanted something simpler. This is just about the same price as a Chromecast, but it has it's own OS that is capable of running apps. You don't need a phone to stream media, which is nice in scenarios where my cell is upstairs and I want to change the app I'm streaming.

Of all the Rokus, sticks, chromecasts and appleTV type products I have used, THIS version is my favorite by far. The set up is simple and easy, even for someone who isn't a super techie...I'm pretty darn good, but this one really is plug and play. What really "did it" for me is the voice remote capability. Instead of having scroll, scroll. scroll and click, click, click to search for the movie or tv show I want, I simple TALK to the remote and, like magic, it shows up on the screen. Now, I'm not saying I'm lazy but who out there likes the scroll-click by letter and number to find their movie. When I want to watch something, I want to get to it quickly instead of hunt and peck for it. (Boy, we are spoiled these days ha ha). The price point is right, the performance is excellent, set up is so simple that even a grown up can do it and it's from Amazon. ...what more do you want?

First time purchasing a fire stick. It’s great, so many different apps you can use, games you can play and movies you can stream. I think It’s better than the original smart tv itself because you have way more options on movies and apps.

Easily plug and play. Makes any tv a smart tv. Alexa voice activation is a plus

No other streaming device I own streams better than this firestick. I've had an Apple TV and Roku for years which don't come close to the firestick with its ease of use and performance. Definitely gonna purchase the fire tv next. Amazon is stepping up their game.

This is a great fire TV stick, small, very light weight and portable. All you need is Internet conections and you're ready. I'll be buying another one soon for my other TV.

Had bought it for my parents. they can use it easily with Voice remote and it can be easily configured to install android apps. So this unleashes more power than other devices in this category. Also the features to price ratio is high

I used an Apple TV before buying this and I actually prefer this. It’s super simple, I love the voice feature, and it’s much much cheaper than the Apple TV. Super deal and I like how I can connect my Spotify account. Definitely worth the purchase!

This device is great. I've had chromecast (has no remote) apple TV (only works Iphones and the remote is small and unresponsive, also incredibly expensive for what it is), and roku (most comparable). The thing that makes the fire TV stick the best is simply Amazon. The addition of alexa on the remote is incredibly useful, she can do anything on the device and it's so easy to just hold down the button and say "watch this is us." Which it then opens up the correct app that has the show and plays the newest epsode for you. Amazing. Only complaint I have is that it doesn't have Youtube TV but it has the other apps on there and I just have to sign in there. Only takes an extra minute so my compaint is a very slight nitpick. All in all great device that is no doubt better than the competition, and the price is perfect too.

I like it easy to use and take anywhere small does not take up a lot of space

I already have been using a Fire Stick I purchased a while back. I picked up another one on Black Friday for $24.99. Since I have been learning to use the Fire Stick I'm able to stream my favorite TV shows and movies. About over a year ago I cut the cord and got rid of cable TV. I got a Digital Antenna for local channels. Again this streaming device is amazing and can do so much.
