I have a Fire TV and am happy with it for the most part, so I bought the Fire Stick for a different TV. I didn't realize I had to plug it up into the wall so it kindof defeated my purpose, but that's not really a big deal. However, the Fire TV and Fire Stick both stop movies in the middle and has to be restarted. This has happened when using Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, so it is not focused on just one program. I have to constantly unplug them and plug them back up to get them working again. I am rating this a 4 because the product overall, I believe, is good, but they both have some small kinks to be worked out.

Very simple little device that works fantastic. Really enjoy the voice remote.

I bought this because I have an old 43 inch 1080p tv in my room. I ised to play xbox on it but I got tired of paying for xbox live so i switched over to pc gaming. The tv had no purpose in my room and since i took the xbox away i had no way of streaming netflix in my room. I decided to get a fire stick and it is great. The only problems ive had woth it is if you set up another remote such as a bluetooth keyboard. The default remote will sometimes stop working. Recently i was in the hospital and i found the fire stick really helpful to watch my shows instead of watching the 10 default programs on the hospital tv

Recently I bought a Smart t.v. to be able to watch Netflix and Hulu. I wrongly assumed that these two popular apps would be on all Smart t.v.s but I was wrong. Mine came with Netflix but not Hulu. So it was suggested to me to buy an Amazon Fire Stick and now I'm enjoying both streaming services plus countless others. And I LOVE that the remote is so simple and easy to use, unlike my overly complicated and detailed remote that came with the t.v. But the best part is that you don't need to have a Smart t.v. in order to use a Fire Stick. It also works in HDTV t.v.s ! So now I can watch Netflix and Hulu from ALL the t.v.s in my house. Just be careful when playing/experimenting with the remote because I accidentally ordered a $20 movie download of a movie that I'n NEVER going to watch! Oooops!!! But overall, well worth the money (and super easy to install too!).

This is the 4th Amazon Fire TV Product I have purchase and I am very happy with the performance of them. I primarily use them to watch OTA TV via my MythTV/Mythbuntu DVR + HDHomeRun Extend Units as well as a basic subscription to Playstation Vue. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance and value.

So glad I picked this item up. I am able to stream movies and watch Amazon or Netflix shows. Using Alexa is so convenient. I can be watching a show and then just tell Alexa to pause or play Music. I am looking forward to using this on the boat in the summer.

I love that this is small and can be taken anywhere and used on Tv's that have a HDMI port. This allows me to watch my shows at my in-laws home who does not have cable.

I'd heard of the Fire Stick but never wanted to try it out. But I saw it on sale and I grabbed it. Love it. Instantly upgraded our family's TV experience. Thought I would have to buy a new smart TV but this will allow me to experience a better TV viewing and then i can save up for the smart TV. Simple to use, my 3 year old loves speaking into the remote. Thats half the fun.

The fire stick is a great addition as well as a first step to begin getting rid of cable. It allows you to use amazon video (if you have a prime subscription) as well as Netflix and other available platforms. Specially useful for non smart tvs in order to enable features that smart TVs offer. It also doubles as a Chromecast allowing you to send video from your phone to your TV.

I've used the Fire TV box and the Fire TV Stick. I've owned the box for two years and practically never have any issues with it. Usually when I do it's because of my slow Internet and not the device. But even with a max download speed of 3 megs, I rarely have any issues with buffering. Super easy to sideload apps not found in the Amazon app store by using FireDL or Downloader.

Lots of different apps for watching TV. Shout TV, Pluto TV and more.With your Amazon prime account, so much more to watch. So if you have Amazon prime account, get the most out of your account, purchase a fire stick, or even better, the new fire tv box. It just came available. I wish I would have known about the new version, or I would have purchased the new version. Love it.

Don't waste your money on a $150 + apple tv that you are going to have to replace in a year. A fire stick is all you need. Simple to set-up, use, and very affordable. Highly recommend if like me, you don't own cable, but hulu, netflix, and hbo are life.

I recently bought this for my mom. The WiFi antenna on her smart tv stopped working and she wasn’t able to connect to her WiFi network. Easy to set-up and get her connected. Also allows her to pick up local major networks through the network’s apps. My only complaint, and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that you have to have a credit card and Amazon account. She doesn’t have an Amazon account and doesn’t want one so I had to have use mine and then set it up where you have to enter a code to make a purchase. Just kind of a bother. If I had known that I would have bought her a Roku instead.

If you're part of the Amazon ecosystem, particularly as an Amazon Prime subscriber, this could well be the streaming device for you. It's as easy to set up as Apple TV and is well integrated with Amazon Prime video and music. Alexa takes actions such as "play Beatles music" as well as looking for video content. The interface is not as good as Apple TV or Netflix, however - it doesn't keep your most recently watched or in progress video at the top as Netflix does, and it's not as easy to customize the display as Apple TV. On balance, for the price and especially for Amazon fans, this is a really good choice.

Easy installation. Fire stick is an excellent value and performs very well.

Does what it is supposed to. Better then Roku in my opinion. Easy to set up

FireStick is easy to use, fast interface, easy navigation. Install Downloader app and the rest is a breeze. Pictures are crisp, clean and sharp. Bought 4 for gifts too

For the price good performance, easy to use and set up. I would recommend .
