Great for movies

The firestick works very easily once you get get used to using it and I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to get a variety of movies and other programming on your tv without having cable.

only one flaw so far

Very easy to connect to my account and browse through content. The main thing that bothers me is that when we choose to watch our regular cable DirecTV, and the Firestick is plugged in, it will interrupt whatever I'm watching and switch over to the Firestick menu. It does this randomly maybe at least once every few hours and I have to manually chance the TV source to go back to what I was watching. Because of this, I just leave it disconnected until we're ready to use it.

Bought as a gift

My friends is a senior and uses glasses, but is able to talk to Alexa on the remote, which helps her find what she is looking for. She loves to be able to request Alexa for a movie or show, instead of going through the prompts and time consuming task to navigation.

Works great, easy to set up.

I took it on vacation with me and was able to use it on the hotel TV to watch movies in the evening. You can load other apps, but these are the only two I use. The remote is great, it uses Alexis voice commands, or you can use it manually to navigate.
