My intentions are to replace DTV with the FireStick and OTA HDTV reception. Setup was easy and Alexa responds well. The apps are easy to navigate. I think the reception is somewhat less than DTV but I am unsure if this is due to my internet speed or the quality of the Firestick unit inself.

I have an original Fire TV box on my main TV, and I should not have strayed away from the Fire TV. Between Roku, Chromecast, and Fire TV, Fire TV blows the other two away. Now, I'm not going to bash Chromecast, as it does have its uses and works well, but Roku's performance was just laggy and frustrating. I'm sure their more powerful devices would have solved some lag, but these are just for TVs that don't get used a lot, so I wasn't going to spend that much. But I'm sure the streaming issues would have remained. The Fire TV Stick is super snappy and responsive, just about as fast as the original Fire TV box. I've had no issues with streaming.

My Fiancé and I got a fire stick, and I love it. I love all the options and apps you can put on the fire stick. It’s almost like having cable in our bedroom, without the price of the additional cable box. Would definitely recommend the fire stick to anyone wondering if they should buy one.

I would have given this 5 stars if it had more of the apps that I wanted that I already have on my Roku. There are some good channels on the firestick that the Roku has, however, it does not have the NHL.tv app that is a must have for me. With that said, I did sideload Kodi so I could get it that way, however, it is a pain to have to go through 2 apps just to get to an app that on Roku is a front app that only requires 1 click. It is a good basic streamer for $25, though.

This is a very easy to setup and use streaming device. Plug into any hdmi port and connect to wifi, start streaming! The voice control is a nice addition. Faster than previous stick

Quick, easy plug in to hdmi port and then power up and immediately detected on the TV's hdmi port. Had Amazon prime account so was easy to register. Upon bootup offers some of the main free apps and others that are free but does have pay content if you want it. Worked great immediately!

Great device to extend your cord cutting setup. It has all the apps for cord cutting and also can be set up for a plex media server. Best part about it is the voice commands. Once you learn what they are all you have to do is speak through the remote. This sets it apart from other devices.

I have bought 5 of these in the past year: one for each TV and a couple as gifts for family. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to cut the cable TV, this is the way to go. Easy set up... Just plug in, enter some information, you're ready to go. Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Kodi and so on.

Surprised at the speed of this. I use other app based products and it take significantly longer to load. It has a nice layout when navigating and Alexa is cool. Only thing I don’t like and it’s not a fault of the fire stick is the different tv apps need some sort of subscription to use.

This item is wonderful. I’ve used it almost every night. Works great with amazon prime because of the unlimited movies. Super easy to set up, and was up and working less than 5 minutes after plugging it in. I’m buying these as gifts. Oh the voice feature is a life saver with my nephew.

I needed something to stream the MLB package I bought. The fire stick was at a good price and works perfect. Having never streamed tv before it's very easy to setup and use.

I use the Amazon fire stick to stream alot of streaming services I have in on place I use the fire stick on a small TV I have in my den and it's just great it's one less cable box I have to pay for and have wires all over the place.. the black Friday sale was a great price also... !!!!

I really like the quality of this device. Work well and the picture quality compliments the picture quality and features on both of my sony TVs. I wish I had listen to my friends earlier and pruchase one. I purchased a second for my second tv a couple of days after I bought the first one

My LED Television got real smart as soon as I plugged this in. For about $29 (sale price), I was able to turn a decent TV into an extraordinary TV. The setup was quite simple after plugging it in. All I had to do was enter my Amazon account information and the automatic setup program kicked in. Prime Video and Netflix were pre-installed, and thousands of other apps were available. I have since bought several of these to give as gifts to family members. The device has since been upgraded and the original went to a neighbor. A lot of power for a very small price. I love it.

It works great for me because I have amazon prime and can leverage the streaming content. Alexa works great too!

Everyone already knows how reliable the fire stick surprisingly is. Solid build. Alexa is great and understand me better than any other big company putting out the same technological feature. Can't go wrong with all the available additional features as well. You won't be disappointed!

As someone who is not a technical wizard, I was pleased at how easy the set-up was for the Fire TV Stick. There were other brands available but as I am already an Amazon Prime member, this seemed the best choice. The layout is easy, the remote works beautifully and the price is perfect.

Solid purchase. The firestick was easy to set up and works very well. Once i moved it away from the router it streamed much faster. Now it rarely ever lags. Tons of apps and games.

Purchased this one as a gift but I own 2 myself. This generation Fire Stick is much quicker than the 1st gen and the remote is better too. The remote voice commands work well and the buttons respond nice compared to older versions. If you have an Amazon Prime account this is a must.
