I bought this for my wife to use for our old "not smart TV" after we upgraded our living room TV. It is very easy to set up and now my wife has everything she wants and it took her no time to learn to use it. Best money ever spent! Literally just plug and play!

This is not the first time I've purchased this item. These are a great way to connect your TV to the internet, for video streaming purposes. They are quick and easy to set up, and easy to use. I just hope Amazon finds a way to keep YouTube on these devices!!

Was not sure whether or not I would use the Amazon Fire as I already was using Netflix on another device, but the FireTV has been great. Lots more options than Netflix, though you do have to pay for many and watch commercials on the ones you do not pay for...

Forgot to grab our firestick when heading out the door for a 6 week cross-country trip in our recently purchased RV. So we purchased another for the road. Streaming movies at night and couldn't imagine our trip without a Firestick. We LOVE it...You will too!!

Purchased this as a father day gift, knowing it would work no problem with our smart TV. We have an older Samsung Smart TV but it does not have the Amazon App available in the Samsung hub, so a firestick was needed. Installation was a breeze, after a quick update all the apps were ready to go. Fast forward 1 month later, the device is still a go to for a movie night. The software does seem buggy at times, there is a terrible lag when scrolling through the videos. Our internet connection is not the problem, it seems to be that the device becomes unresponsive while scrolling for some reason.(maybe it becomes overloaded?) The remote also seems to have its issues, becoming unresponsive while being pointed directly at the receiver. (blue light does not show when clicked) When the device is streaming a video it is great! We just have to slow down while scrolling through content, as it does seem to freeze sometimes up to 10 seconds. Think I may have just gotten a buggy one.

This is a Great device. If your wanting to do more then just use it for the "Smart TV Features" like AMC, HBO ESPN etc etc. Then there is the big brother to this which is the firetv Box. But This is AMAZING!!! Especially if you install a program called Kodi.

We got the amazon Fire stick so that we could watch Amazon Prime and HBO GO on our TV. We got way more than we bargained for. My wife loves it and we have ended up using it way more than we thought we would. We wish we would have pulled the trigger sooner.

The Amazon Fire stick is it great streaming device, I recently got rid of my DVR, I installed all the major INetwork apps so I can watch my favorite shows whenever I want without having to pay the price for a DVR. I have no issues with streaming works great.

Amazing technology best for live stream tv and So many awesome apps and using Alexa is simple.

This product was very easy to set up. I'm happy with all of the selections for television viewing we now have. Just getting to know about it, but the hope is to someday be able to cut the strings to over charged cable bills-- definitely worth the purchase.

Purchased this amazon fire stick due to the fact that my tv was not a smart tv & I must say, I am impressed. For the price, you can buy a non-smart tv & connect a fire stick to it vs. a higher priced smart tv. Save your money & purchase a fire stick instead.

Amazon fire TV stick is one of the best media streaming devices in the market. Even though there is a lot of competition in the market, the fact that it's from Amazon and that you have all that Amazon has to offer, makes it even better. Highly recommended.

The firestick can do everything & there is easy access to anything. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, DirecTv Now, Sling, Movies Anywhere, Youtube, etc. I even found an app in the store that has an internet browser on it. You can also play games, & there are a ton of free ones to choose from. I love the included hdmi extender piece Bc it’s soooo handy as the firestick doesn’t fit in the hdmi port of all TVs if the hdmi port is in a weird location. This extender piece allows you to place the firestick on every hd tv. The only negative thing I have to say about it is with Alexa herself..she can never answer any of my questions or find the apps I am looking for, even though they are installed on the stick & I thought that was her purpose. Other than that I’m completely happy & would recommend the firestick to everyone looking to have all of their streaming media in one handy place. :)

My fire stick is grate. I can watch almost anything, it’s better then Netflix’s I’ve been having it for about 5 months months now. I haven’t had any problems. It’s easy to use, my two kids (ages 4 and 5) have no problem using it or picking a show or movie.

Easy to use works good fits our needs don't really watch a lot of different channels or apps.

A nice improvement over the original. I don't feel nearly as much lag and the option to use Ethernet with the separate adapter is nice, though it's not necessary if you have a decent wireless N signal. Wish they'd add individually programmable power, volume, and source buttons to the remote though. Or they could at least let the device use the HDMI control to change the TV volume without needing to program anything.

For simple apps like Netflix, Hulu etc, you can't get a better value than this. The now-discontinued Fire TV was faster and more elegant to operate and more expensive. But in place of the old Fire, Amazon is now offering a mid-range dongle, a kind of Fire Stick that hangs off the side of your TV from a couple of wires. It's not an elegant solution and by reports from YouTube, it hasn't got much on the stick except a moderately fast processor and high-end sound options. If that appeals to you, get the more expensive one, Otherwise get the stick while you can, Amazon killed the old, excellent Fire without warning. I suspect the new Fire TV dongle will be the low-end stick of the future at a higher price. The stick will disappear eventually and maybe a better high-end option will be created for those who want a luxury TV app device like the old, much-loved Fire TV.

I can't get over how easy it is to use the remote control for Netflix. I love it and the results it gets. While it took me a little while to get used to it and to train myself how to use it, I am absolutely delighted with the system and how easy it is!

I found the Amazon firstick to be very useful. I love the features of selecting the apps. Also love the microphone that is the control. Makes for easy search
