Fire stick is great! You can use it for all your streaming subscriptions as well as all the other programs you can easily install on it. Fire Stick or Fire Box would definitely be something to look at for anyone trying to get rid of monthly cable bills.

Where do I start with this product bc it's so many good things to say about it. Glad I finally let my daughter talk me into buying one. Love it so much until I brought a 2nd one doing Black Friday wish I would have brought a 3rd. Cheaper then cable‼️

I've had a 48" Samsung for many years, and have recently retired it to a bedroom (from my family room). It's not "Smart", nor wi-fi connected...until now! Set-up, including removing the Fire Stick from packaging, was super easy! Configuration was simple for me (however, some may find it confusing, depending upon their technical savvy, such as my parents / grandparents). No glitches with streaming so far, and this is with a relatively slow connection speed. Picture is fantastic! Why didn't I do this before?! I've not yet utilized the Amazon "Alexa" features, so...to be continued.

I have the minimum wifi speed with plans to upgrade, but it worked great with the current wifi. Easy to set up. Quick setup. You can unplug the unit and move it to another television and not have to set up again. Just wish there was more free content.

Amazon’s fire stick is as advertised. It is easy to set up and has plenty of available content. Although the unit hangs from the HDMI, it won’t affect it. I would certainly recommend. Additionally it is portable, just unplug and put into another TV.

Screw using it for what amazon needs you to use if for. Side load all the Kodi apps and run away with EVERYTHING you want to watch for the purchase of the firestick. What's genius is that they get everyone to buy it, for legit and not so much use.

The amazon fire stick is a wonderful invention. I’m able to keep up with all of my shows on one device as well as entertain my nephews and guests with the fun games and apps. The new remote that has the voice command on it is very impressive as well.

All in all is a very nice device. Love the voice command with the remote. Being able to pause, rewind, stop, etc with it, is very nice. We are still trying to get used to the interface and trying to figure out how to call movies with Amazon Prime only. We have had Roku for a few years, so it will take time to get used to the stick. But we are enjoying it so far. Our daughter loves playing the included game.

Living in the Country, My wife and I have had the major Satellite TV service since 1994, and added Firestick/Fire TV to all of our televisions about a year ago. The ease of use, the selection available, and the quality of picture/audio quality makes the Firestick and FireTV our preferred source for Television viewing. Warning: You will find far more quality programming (and otherwise I must admit) than you ever believed available, so watch at your peril. Guaranteed you are going to find programming that cuts into chores and other activities!

Great for cutting the cord. Super easy to setup and use. A lot of great features and apps.

Own a Sony Google TV that Google has not updated to work with the various streaming services. (If they have, I haven’t determined how to use.) Fire stick remedied that gap. Easy to install and even easier to use. Disappointed that I waited so long.

Enabled me to cut my cable service to basic and save $60/month. Lots of apps and options.

Being a fan of all things Amazon! And after hearing so much good things about firestick! I thought I'd give it a try. To stream my movies, I used my xbox360 which wasn't bad but time consuming. So i bought the first generation firestick. It was great and I loved it! So much to stream and not s whole lot of issues. Except for picking up our WiFi from our bedroom. So when the new one came out, i wanted to see if it ed any different, aside from the remote size and microphone, the newer model is way faster. And great to stream other services, like Netflix. This model is by far my favorite!

I was looking into either buying a Roku or Firestick. I'm so happy I made the decision that I did. I love the clean look of the firestick, and all the functions are a plus. I can definitely see this saving me some time and frustration in the future.

As my bedroom TV I have a Samsung which does not have smart capabilities and this has added the ability to stream media from both the internet and my network attached storage drive. One of my most common uses has been to stream videos from Youtube.

This is a great source of entertainment. The reason I purchased it was to try and run my comcast through it on a tv not hooked up to cable...in short I was unsuccessful. But, a friend walked me through a program to download anything and everything and after a few video tutorials it was up and running. That along with the other content on the fire stick make this thing pretty awesome for a kick butt price!!

The fire stick is a great option for giving you access to multiple streaming options like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, etc. As well as offering games, the Fire Stick offers a nice menu and fast streaming at high quality. Few things to note: does not use batteries, requires being plugged in (and should be unplugged when not in use - after many hours the stick can become very warm). Often requires updates (which do not take long at all). Requires a TV with an HDMI input. Comes with a remote which can utilize voice commands. If interested, I highly recommend.

Generally this is a great device. I think I would opt for the bigger one since this device rests dangling from the back of my TV. Its more of an aesthetic issue (however, it is hidden behind the TV), but I would opt for the larger device in the future. No complaints however. Good for the money. If I could change something, I would have it draw power from the USB rather than a wall outlet charger requirement.

I was hesitant to buy the fire stick because I have a roku now which I love. I needed another streaming option for a different tv so took the plunge on the firestick. For $40 it's a great streaming device. Has Alexa as well. The only downside is you need to plug it into an outlet so depending on where you tv is located you may need a longer usb cable than the one they give you. They sell HDMI powering cables so you can plugin it into another HDMI port instead of plugging into the wall but I didn't have enough HDMI ports on the tv to do this. I'd definitely buy it again.

Make any tv into a smart tv. Easy setup. It was like $35 on sale so for that price its hard to beat. I have a high end Samsung smart TV but samsungs tvs use their own OS which has limit app support, with this cheap device I can run android apps.
