Love my new Macbook Air! It is light and fast and is everything you would want in a new laptop. I started off with the Macbook Pro but switched to the Air and found it more suited to my needs.

If you prefer to have the option to upgrade your RAM and Hard Drive then this is a good choice if not the only choice when it comes to MacBooks. The newer ones don't give you that option. I preferred the latest MacBook Air with a 256GB SSD. Its SSD is very quick in comparison and for my use the 4 GB RAM is ample enough. I'm not a gamer.

I've bought two of these MacBooks. One for me and one for my boyfriend. I had mine for almost a year, and while my boyfriend would use it more than his old toshiba, he ended getting one for himself too. Even though it's a 2012 model it didn't bother me because the Processor is faster than I imagined, Synced all of my over 1,000 photos over from my phone and still have tons of available space. We both love it! Get it while it's on sale.

Love the computer/laptop. The performance, graphics and speed are outstanding. Kudos to Apple for making such a wonderful computer. Excellent product that I hope to have for 10+ years.

This is the first time of having an apple macbook and I love it. It's fast and easy to used and is not slowing me down like windows laptop. It could be expensive but it's worth it.

My daughter was starting college & needed a new, lighter laptop to replace her bulky old one. This has the same processing spec's & memory but is much easier to carry around campus.

Apple products tend to be thought of as overpriced and not worth the extra investment if you are unable to afford them. However, with a different operating system than our typical PC or laptop, Mac operating systems offer more protection against personal information where 'computer hackers' are less likely to steal identity sensitive information due to unfamiliarity with the operating system. I prefer apple products regardless of price due to the convenience of syncing together all of my 'apples' entourage' information (applications, music, contacts, emails, calendars, etc.) together in one system where everything flows. I have found over the years that apple tends to load webpages, applications, documents, etc in a manner that puts my 'wait time anxiety' at ease. I have had far less difficulties with lost 'number crunching' work, less incidents of computer crashing causing important documentation losses than in my PC stint of 4.5 years. I have found that laptops are usually physically more durable than Macs, so it is difficult to say which will last you longer depending on the manner is which you take care of your things. The down side of the mac operating system is the continuous system improvements that evolve almost systematically and older models are eventually phased out. I enjoy the continuous system improvements because that sets a stage for me to keep up with the new features, and convenient shortcuts to make computing experience less monotonous. Mac VS. PC is more a personal preference where your computer needs and comfortability with technology determine which one is a better fit for you. My biggest challenge with my Macbook is learning to memorize the extensive shortcut list to improve ease and efficiency of use.

I use my computer for school and love it! The battery life is just what I need. It's not too big or too small. No complaints by far.

I love how it's eat to used great for me also would be great for any college kid who would want a reliable computer that will works great no problem at all. Best investment ever.

I've been a Mac user for over a decade and recently had to switch to a PC for a graduate business program. When my Lenovo broke, I was debating the switch back to Mac but was concerned with the functionality of Office Suite (especially Excel). Lo and behold! With the first update in 5 years, Excel finally operates and looks essentially as it does on a Windows platform. Now I have all of the intuitive functionality of a MacBook Pro with the usefulness of Office Suite in a sturdier, sleeker, more reliable machine.

I chose this computer as my Christmas gift this year because I do photography. I like that it has the CD player internally. This makes it easier for me to have everything I need without adding any external devices. I also like the photo card reader that is on this computer. I don't have to attach a photo card reader device. It is absolutely the greatest. The size is also very comfortable to use. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for the computer that has everything. I absolutely love it!

This is my first Mac ever and it is awesome. It's not heavy, it is fast, and it can hold a lot of storage. Perfect for a student!

The speed and easy accessibility is great with a LONG battery life! Way better then Windows. It's very sleek and light. There is also tons of help online for any questions I have.

Computer is exactly as described, easy to use great for anything especially for school size of laptop is perfect to carry around

I absolutely love this computer and each day I learn something new. I'm used to Windows but it was incredibly easy to get used to the features in this Mac Book. I bought this computer because I needed something that was reliable and long lasting for college. My experience with Windows was not so great and I kept getting viruses. This computer is fast and I know it will last a while for me. Invest in this Mac Book Pro and you wont regret it!!

I am loving my new Mac! I decided to get a Mac because I had so many problems with my old computer, which was an HP, and wanted a computer that would be reliable and would last. Each time I brought my computer in to get fixed (which was 3 times a year for 3 years straight) I would ask the Geek Squad staff what they used and recommended. 100% of them said they owned Macs and would recommend getting one. I also did not want to deal with all the Windows 8 issues and couldn't wait for the next Windows to come out. I'm so glad that I bought it! The Mac is more expensive but I wound up getting a great deal on mine because of credit from my lemon computer (I recommend the Geek Squad insurance, it saved me a ton of money on my lemon) and a sale they were having at Best Buy. Even without the savings, I think it is totally worth the extra money. The computer is super-fast and user-friendly. People who are worried about having to use a new operating system should not worry at all! It was easy to pick up on how the computer works, and I am not computer savvy at all. My boyfriend has even started using my computer, instead of his PC, because it is so fast and easy. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a personal laptop.

Excellent product from Apple! I'm a high school teacher and this machine is exactly what I need to help me be more efficient with work at home. Very fast. Very easy to use.

I am very happy with my macbook pro. only thing I think I would have done was buy it with flash memory instead. overall the computer runs great and does what I need it for.

The only reason I had to replace my old MacBook Pro is because it was stolen. I purchased my first MBP in 2010 and it still worked as well as the day I purchased it. I used it extensively for video and photo editing. I had two children since I purchased it and they've stood on it, dropped it, hit it...and it still worked great after so long. Many PC laptops and desktops are so obsolete after 4-5 years unless you do some exhaustive updates and it may even require paying someone else to wipe it. The mac updates were simple, easy and done all by myself. I couldn't recommend it better! MBP's are all i'll buy from now on.
