Easy Plug and Play use

Works well no problems. The only drawback is it is totally sealed with automated disc loading and ejecting, so there appears to be no way to eject a disc without being powered by the computer. Have not had any problems ejecting from computer though.

I returned it and purchased the Apple item. Yes it was more expensive but it is metal not plastic and I feel like it will certainly withstand normal use. Very glad I returned the other and purchased this one.

Great External DVD/CD Drive

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great CD burner, it downloads CD's at a decent rate to add to my I-Tunes Library and you can burn your playlist onto a blank CD if desired. It also pays regular DVD movies, which is a great feature if you want to watch a movie on your computer.
