The idea is good, but the execution is complete fail. You’re paying more than a PS5 for a cheap MDF box with fancy artwork stickers on it and the cheapest bottom of the barrel components possible. This does actually use sinden technology inside the Dollar Tree quality guns which is a welcome addition, but the PCB is also underpowered so you’ll see skipping frames / freezing sometimes. There are more problems but those are the worst. The height of the cabinet is wrong for a shooting game, and the screen is too small. It’s not unplayable, but if you want to take this game seriously at all, the whole thing is a trainwreck. These A1up cabs are just cheaply made novelty toys with a stupidly high price tag, if you see them on sale for like half price then they are fun for sure, but if you’re expecting something ‘good quality’ you’ll be very disappointed. I highly recommend going to a Best Buy store that has a demo unit you can see what you’re really getting.

The game came after having the shipping date moved twice. When it was delivered the box came with all of its contents. However, after putting it together using the straight forward instructions the screen failed to turn on. I had to reopen the cabinet and trace the power. It turned out that there was a disconnected wire harness inside the silver box that connects on the board. I reconnected it and we were off to playing. Play in this game is very similar to the local bar. There are couple of things that you need to observe unlike the arcade model. First is you have to make sure the guns are calibrated. Second make sure you keep the require distance from the screen. If you do not to will miss a bunch. Solid game. I hope the guns hold up. 1 month in so far so good. The cabinet is very similar other Arcade 1up cabinets. Solid game wish screen was a little bigger, but I knew what I was getting into.

Love it I have been on the fence since I first saw one of these machine, but this is a great machine. Easy to put together great game play. Brings home the arcade experience love it. The included riser is a must as an adult with a height of 6 ft the game would be unplayable without it.

Don't believe the negative reviewing nitpickers.. This thing is awesome. It's the perfect size for home use. It took about 1.5 hours to put together and that was with a baby needing attention. directions are clear. Very sturdy and well made. game play is just like the big brother arcade version.

The original bar video game with two regions, North America and Africa, three treks each, or opt for a single trek, or just the bonus games. A little shorter than the bar cabinet, so one might want to add a lift platform for taller people. One nice option is to forego pumping before shooting, so you just pull the trigger...less stress, more fun especially for kids.

Little pricey for smaller screen but plays just like the old buck hunter arcade game . Take your time putting it together , gets some spots where you have to look at it first. Great game. Already loads of family entertainment

This is a super fun addition to our basement arcade. The mini games are a personal favorite. The unit is a little short (and I’m only 5’6”) so I had to raise it up with some black side tables, not sure why they didn’t make the riser taller in the first place. Guns were a little tricky to calibrate, had much better success with lights off in the room while doing it.

Great home version of the original arcade game. Authentic appearance of the cabinet artwork makes it fun just to look at in the Rex room. Nice sound and game play. Guns could be a bit more robust, but trying to compare them to the $6000 real arcade version of game is unfair. Arcade 1 did a nice job here for the money!

Excellent cabinet. The games play smoothly, the cabinet is well designed, and looks excellent. My only complaint is that the holsters for the guns are open ended and it's too easy to catch parts of the guns on the holster when pulling them out. I already put a small scratch on one of the gun's stickers pulling it out of the holster, and this will be an ongoing issue I think. Other than that, this is a really great entry by Arcade1Up. I really hope they continue to make cabinets like this with unique control schemes and form factors that resemble the original cabinets they are based on like this one.

Grandsons love it!! I was really impressed with the packaging and all parts are marked for easy assembly. Game has a nice selection of hunting scenarios. Screen could be a little larger, but still works fine. So the far the only major drawback is trying to get a turn playing it.

Fun game to play. Screen is small but the games and artwork are cool. The hunting games are difficult. The extra games are easier and funner to play in my opinion. I also was able to use a member benefit deal to get 10 percent off. So that made it a better deal for me.

Assembling this machine was very east. Assembly directions were easy to follow. All parts fit perfectly. What an awesome game! This is an extremely realistic and the light guns are very accurate. Its definitely a hit with my 8 year old twin grandsons.

Perfect addition to our home arcade. It was easy to put together, taking only about an hour using only a Phillips screwdriver. Game play is fun and the light guns work great. Before you play for the first time don’t forget to go into the menu and calibrate the guns. Enjoy!

Amazing, plays just like the regular bar arcade. Has newest software so you have 4 player capabilities and 4 games worth of hunts on one machine. Guns are precise, graphics are good, easy to setup, this is a great arcade.

I love it so much, just make sure you calibrate the guns or you'll be like why did I buy this lol. I play it almost everyday I love it so much like the real arcade.

Despite the small screen for using Light Guns, I have enjoyed this Arcade Cabinet immensely. I own a few Arcade units, and this is one of my favorites. Plays like you would expect and loads of fun.

First off, don’t listen to the reviews that haven’t even purchased the item. This item is fantastic and perfect for a game room/man cave. Yes the screen can be a little bit bigger, but once you start playing you forget about the size of the screen. The accuracy is spot on after you calibrate the guns. I’m looking forward to more Light Gun arcade cabinets in the future. I highly recommend this item.

I've always wanted Big Buck Hunter, and finally splurged with no regrets. Give yourself an hour to assemble the game. Then give yourself the rest of the night to have fun playing it. It started without a hitch, and works just like the BBH that I remember from the bars. It's a blast. Some say the screen feels small, but it doesn't feel small when you're playing it. We got the last one in the store. The box damaged, and one of the guns was scratched and cracked through the hole in the box, but it hasn't impacted the playability. It's a great game.

The gun is awful on this game compared to the real arcade game. You have to be about 1 1/2 feet away from the screen in order for the shots to register. The trigger has about 1/8" of travel when you pull it, which makes it very uncomfortable to use. So other than the gun, the game itself is great. I am really hoping that they will release a better gun for this thing. I find myself disappointed with this game compared to my Golden Tee and Out Run from Arcade1up.

Awsome!! Picture quality on the game is very good. You can set the settings to manually punp the gun after each shot or just shoot without, very nice. The gun is very accurate. Whether you're into hunting or not you will love this game.
