Asus is a very well known brand inwhich i trust. I bought this chromebook with the hopes of being able to do both my school and work. For being a Chromebook Ave got more use out of it then expected. The price was very reasonable and you get what you pay for so no complaints on this end!

Cheap Chromebooks are fantastic! Be sure to get one like this with decent specs, and you will find you can do almost anything you need to do on a computer. Yes, I have Windows computer that cost 10 times as much to do a handful of things, but I leave it at home and hit the road with my $100 Chromebook without worrying about it getting damaged or stolen. After all, it costs a tiny fraction of what my iPhone cost. And it's WAY more secure than my Windows laptop as well, and the battery lasts 5 times as long besides.

Love everything about this Chromebook. It has a decent processor and good amount of RAM. Battery life is excellent.

Excellent Chromebook for the price. I really liked the specs and speed. It needs a touch screen to be 100% but it's a small thing really. Would recommend.

Quality laptop, solid construction, nice screen and adequate memory and ram. My only ding common to many laptops these days are short travel keys that make typing a bit uncomfortable. Would buy again though, great value in the Chromebook space and way easier to update than Windows laptops. Kudos to Google for continuing to enhance the OS on a regular basis.

I love this computer. Battery is great the keyboard is very nice just that the keys are hard to read but gets better when turning of the backlit keyboard.

I find this Chromebook to work well, and quite fast. Good points: Full HD 1080P narrow bezel display - many inexpensive computers opt for 720 Backlit keyboard 8Gb ram - Best Buy's description is incorrect 64Gb storage - again many Chromebooks only have 16Gb or 32Gb Intel Core M3-8100Y 2 core 4 thread processor with burst 3.4Ghz gives plenty of speed The keyboard has a good travel and feel, touchpad works well. Overall, a snappy performer - and if purchased on sale, a great value. Keep in mind, Best Buy has a couple things wrong in the description - ram size, and the display is not a touch screen.

Need an inexpensive no maintenance computer? Chrome books are a great solution. Mix that with the size, memory and price, it was a total winner.

Full 1080p is a must for me and competitors in this price range all have lower resolution. 8GB of RAM is also nice to have. Everything works great! My only complaint is the backlit keyboard. Because all keys are reflective silver, the white key labels are hard to see when looking at an angle in my typical sitting position on a recliner chair. The bright screen reflects off the keys, completely glaring out the backlight. We can adjust the keyboard brightness using [alt+brightness key], but even on max it does not really help unless I block the screen reflections with my hand. It works better in a more upright sitting positions, but that's not how I mostly use it. They could have saved cost by eliminating the backlight and printing (ugly) black letters on the keys instead. They chose form over function: looks better on the store shelf and spec sheet but is actually less functional. Still, it does all I need it to do and normally I do no need to look at the keys anyways ...

Love this chromebook. I use a Windows machine for work and also have to be current on MacOS machines for work. When I get home and consume content or research purchases, this does the job. No muss no fuss. Not a gaming machine but a good laptop for general surfing and personal entertainment.

What a phenomenal device. The range of people who will enjoy this could be your kids, your professional spouse, or your parents and grand parents. I bought several of these when they were on sale and man am I happy I did. They are extremely snappy and with the installed 8gb of ram it keeps things moving. I did several things, including played some videos on youtube, had a bunch of websites open and also loaded citrix so I could access and EMR for work. I am extremely happy with the speed, performance and battery life. In addition I can say from personal experience that this laptop is incredibly sturdy, well made and feels incredibly solid. This is my 5th ASUS laptop and compared to some of the higher end models it holds up. Compared to macbooks I've used, it holds up. Honestly there's zero reason for you to buy a more expensive laptop unless you want to play video games. You want to do work for school or your office that uses g suites, then look no further.

The computer is very worth it for its price and very easy to adapt to.

This item was a gift, but the receiver indicates that the unit is fast and seems quite reliable at this point. I have seen the unit when working with the individual and it has a quick response and I am very pleased with giving it as a gift. The addition of a mouse has helped this person navigate more easily and the chromebook is extremely responsive and reliable. I highly recommend this to folks who may not want to purchase a full Windows laptop. Great device and I am pleased to see the results.

Overall I'm pretty happy, especially for the price. The only difficulty I'm coming across is moving the screen up and down. Also it seems to resize a lot and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure it's a quick fix which is what I'm looking into today but again I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Seems fast enough for my use case which is just basic browsing and the design is sleek in my opinion.

Ok first off this Chromebook has 8GB of ram not 4GB so that is a nice surprise. The keyboard is annoying being sliver as its hard to even see and the backlight makes it even harder to see not easier. It is the one thing I despise about it. The screen looks pretty good and has no real backlight bleed which is surprising, The cpu is plenty capable for basic use and does not struggle at times like my last Chromebook that had on 2 cores/ 2 threads. IMO 1080p is useless on a 14 inch screen like this and in fact it defaults to 1536x864 anyway otherwise you would have trouble seeing the small text. On sale at 120 bucks this is a very good deal and at that price I would give it 5 stars if not for that silver keyboard.

Purchased this for myself at a great price. Ideal for browsing the web, online shopping, emails, news stories, social media, video streaming, and gaming. Like the lightweight feel. Sound is good. The keyboard can be difficult to see at certain angles of light.
