I wentfrom a netgear to this router. I love it. So many features for security and ease of use. Great for gaming and 2400 sq ft. Home wireless that is super fast

I purchased this 2 years ago and its works great. We have over 12 connections using this and its worked flawlessly HOWEVER ASUS needs to get their updates in order. Previous 2 updates almost bricked the router however I did get that corrected. Latest update worked as should. I have coverage from my router over a football field away in the country. I also have my old asus router as a repeater and setup was easy so I even more coverage (even though I don't need it). Can't go wrong with this router.

We suffer from really slow internet service in our area, but this Wi-Fi router helps to push the data thru and allow several devices to work correctly at the same time. it is way better than the router that ATT provided, which is not being used now for mentioned reasons.

Looking for a router that would allow access throughout entire house and not just in rooms closest to router. This product works great. No complaints, works throughout whole house!

Signal was great when it was working but had a hard time getting it to configure with our wireless HP printer. Also, it didn't want to stay connected with our Apple computers. We returned it.

Awesome product. Easy to setup and use. We have four computers, 2 X-Box's, 3 iPhones and 3 iPads - sometimes all going at the same time. There has been no lag and the best part (as I said in the summary) - my kid has finally stopped complaining about the lag and dropped WiFi.

I bought this router to be used as a OpenVPN client for a very small remote office. While this isn't a commercial grade router, it does handle small jobs like this perfectly. Most certainly recommended for home use.

This is a good unit. A lot of the features feel modern and sleek. There is a different model that supports 8 LAN ports but it seems unnecessary unless you are booking up computers for a LAN party. Price could be better thus minus 1 star

This made my Xfinity wireless router modem combo a night and day difference. Increased my wireless capabilities in my home. Speed is so much faster. I have 30+ wireless connected devices at any given time and the Xfinity unit could not handle it. This thing took all the roadblocks out and made wireless fast again and getting speeds that I paid for. The console and app are very intuitive. QOS option is handy to split off your devices along with bandwidth meter to see who or what is hogging your bandwidth. I was up in the air with this one and the Netgear Nighthawk and glad I went with this one.

I recently purchased the AC3100 after bricking my old router. Rest assured that this product delivers on its promises for speed and coverage. With multiple smart tv's, laptops, iPads, and phones in the house; this router was a must. You will not be disappointed!

Blows the RT66U out of the water on coverage. Strong signal throughout our 2100 sq ft, two level house. Easy setup with Asus router software. Run don't walk.

Was having a lot of trouble with the Frontier ADSL wifi router/modem that was sent when my service was ordered. I spent 3 years fighting with Frontier about poor wifi service and slow ADSL speed. In come the AC3100 and WOW what a difference. I hardly ever lose service and the wifi coverage has more than doubled. Went from 8-12 Meg down over wifi to 21 Meg down (service is 24Mb). Very easy to set up and deploy. The Cloud service when putting a hard disk on the router works great. No more need to pay for or use other cloud services i.e. Dropbox. This router does it all!!

Not being a techie I went with the suggestion of my internet service provider as to what brand of router I should use after my previous router died after one year. I went to Best Buy and the salesman was very knowledgeable about what router suited my specific needs. He was right on all accounts! The router is super fast with no lagging. I stream video with no buffering and no pauses with online game play. This router is great and I'm very happy with my purchase. It's better than my previous router and cheaper too!

I bought this on sale during Black Friday to replace a Netgear N600 which worked fine in my old apartment, but having recently moved into a 2 story house, was causing intermittent connections for my devices on the first floor (Router was placed on second floor, close to the main stairwell. The results of this router blew me away, Absolutely no dead spots, and everywhere in my 1800sqft place was accessible with no lag or slowdown. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic with it and recommend to anyone that have any intermittent issues with their current router.

ASUS never fails and this router is another great quality product. It is so easy to setup and configure for proper security settings. Anyone can do it regardless on what your knowledge level is. I highly recommend this ASUS model.

I've had good experiences with Asus routers and when my 1900 died after years of service, I decided to go with the AC3100 router as an upgrade replacement. I'm a gamer and this router has many added features for that use. Setup was a breeze and I have had no problems whatsoever. Coverage is superior to the AC1900 and it hadn't the features that this router has. If you are a gamer, if you need better coverage in your home, and you can deal with a little hike in price, you won't regret the purchase.

This is the best router I have seen I have installed many routers and this is more like a small business router. You can get a basic Wi Fi up out of the box, but it can also be fine tuned for fantastic performance and security.

I've had this router now for a couple months. So far the performance has been great. No dropouts, consistent speed and coverage in my home.

I purchased this to replace my cable provided router. My cable provider router couldn't deliver signal through out my house, even though I had it a high place clear of obstacles, even though I pay for 400mbps download speeds, I would constantly get 20mbps only one floor away. The minute I installed this router, the entire house gets 300mbps average and it's extremely stable. I can also tell what sites the other people in the house visit or spend the most time on. Super happy with the performance!

This router was easy to setup right out of the box. It also has great throughput/speed; however, I was not as please with the reach. When I initially set it up, the coverage reached well into my backyard. After a couple of days (with no change in the configuration or anything else around it), the reach was not as far. Not sure why. But all of my interior devices connect consistently and have no problems staying connected. I have over 50 devices in my home connected at all times and have no throughput issues.
